The lump was breast cancer. Thanks to early detection and the care of Susan Montgomery, M.D., at Providence Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, Wash., Renee’s journey toward healing and hope began. 🩷

3 pechugas de pollo sin hueso ni piel, cocidas, frĂ­as
y cortadas en tiras
3 cebollas verdes, cortadas en rebanadas
1½ tazas de racimos pequeños de brócoli
2 zanahorias medianas, peladas y cortadas en tiritas
1 pimiento rojo, cortado en tiritas
2 tazas de repollo cortado en juliana o tiritas delgadas
½ taza de aderezo Asiático libre de grasa o aderezo
de sésamo para ensaladas (sesame salad dressing)
ÂĽ taza de jugo de naranja 100% natural
ÂĽ taza de cilantro fresco, picado

PreparaciĂłn:
Coloque las tiritas de pechuga de pollo en un tazĂłn mediano con la cebolla, el brĂłcoli, la zanahoria, el pimiento y el repollo.

Zesty Asian Chicken Salad

Ingredients:
A colorful salad packed with a variety of healthy foods.

3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and chilled
3 green onions, sliced
1½ cups small broccoli florets
2 medium carrots, peeled and cut into strips
1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
2 cups shredded cabbage
½ cup fat free Asian or sesame salad dressing
ÂĽ cup 100% orange juice
ÂĽ cup chopped fresh cilantro

Preparation:
Cut chicken breasts into small strips and place in a medium bowl with onions, broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, and cabbage.
In a small bowl, stir together dressing and juice. Pour over salad and toss well to coat. Stir in cilantro. Serve at room temperature.

Makes 4 servings - 1 cup per serving.

Agua ExplosiĂłn de Moras

Ingredientes
Para esta receta puedes usar moras congeladas compradas en la tienda o congelar las tuyas.

1 taza de moras mixtas (fresas y moras azules)
PreparaciĂłn
Recolectar, rebanar y medir todos los ingredientes antes de comenzar a preparar la receta.
Agregar todos los ingredientes y suficiente agua fría para llenar una jarra de 2 cuartos de galón. Enfriar durante la noche en el refrigerador para obtener el mayor sabor, y mantener en el refrigerador hasta que esté listo para tomar. La fruta se mantendrá fresca en el agua hasta 48 horas después de prepararse.

It’s easy to infuse your water with exciting flavors! Whether you like tropical, tangy, sweet or herbal, we have recipes to make your water delicious:

Watermelon and Strawberry Water

Ingredients:
1 cup watermelon, cut into small pieces (1-2 inches)
10 strawberries, tops removed and sliced into small pieces

Preparation:
1. Wash all produce.
2. Collect, slice, and measure all ingredients before starting to prepare the recipe.
3. Add all ingredients plus enough cold water to fill a 2-quart pitcher. Chill overnight in the refrigerator for the most flavor, and store in the refrigerator until ready to drink. The fruit will stay fresh in the water for up to 48 hours after being prepared.
4. After you drink the water, you can eat the fruit or blend it into a smoothie.

Makes 8 servings - 1 cup per serving.
