Working with a client on her “knee pain”trying to avoid meniscus surgery- through Myofascial treatments we identified that her real injury is at her hip resulting in knee pain. Her response after recent treatment- “Overall, I think it IS getting better. I have more range in my hips than I've had in several months! The inflammation is only on the right/inside of the left knee. And a very noticeable GOOD difference in the left hamstring. NO pain”.
After additional treatments with continued improvement this client cancelled her knee surgery. Thank you for allowing me to help you in this healing journey.

I not going to try to name everyone as I am afraid I would forget someone. Thank you to my husband, Jim Slempkes and everyone who has supported me to pursue my passion to use my gift to help rid people of their pain. It is the most amazing , rewarding feeling that warms my heart that after a treatment a client tells me they can now put on their shirt/bra with no arm pain, go for a walk, sleep in their favorite position, play with their dog or grandkids. Thank you for those that have taken time out of your day to visit me at 920 Wellness, the thoughtful gifts. I am truly blessed.

The time is now! For me and for all of you reading this. For me, my door inside the 920 Wellness Studio to serve the Greater Fox Valley through my training, expertise and success as an Occupational Therapist specializing in pain RELIEF not just pain management through the use of Myofascial Release techniques.
As many of you reading this know since you or a friend or family member have already been touched by this "Gift" I have been given. As the saying goes;" It is in giving that we receive". I have been fortunate over the past 12 years been able to give pain relief to many and through that I have received great joy. It is this incredible feeling of joy along with the support of so many of you that has brought me to this place in my life, starting my own business.
A Handful of Hope seemed very fitting for my business as it is through my hands that I can offer hope to those living with physical and emotional pain.
I will be at the 920 Wellness Studio M, F and Sat for now but also have an office in my home and will do home visits or office visits as needed. I am hear to serve the community I live in.
