📚✨Happy Back-to-School from Baby Bear! ✨ 🚌

I don’t know about all you other moms out there, but summer is such a mix of so much fun and also… completely exhausting. 🌞💦 Between parks, pool days, and adventures, my heart is full—and so is my laundry basket. 😅

One of the biggest blessings since starting Baby Bear back in 2021 has been the flexibility to sneak in that extra time with my kiddos. It’s something I’m so grateful for, even though it also means juggling a bit more—making sure work is flowing smoothly, families are cared for, and everyone still feels like the priority they are.

So as bittersweet as it is, back-to-school feels like a little relief and we’re all ready for this next season.

Wishing all the moms, kids, and families a wonderful start to the school year. 💛 Here’s to fresh routines, full backpacks, and new beginnings!

A few weeks ago, Cassie and Callie made a trip to visit the PTs and OTs at the Children’s Wisconsin clinic in Mequon to meet the staff and give an inservice about all things head shape.

We believe that excellent pediatric orthotic care can only happen when all professionals are working together while bringing the best of their respective expertise. That is why we work hard to collaborate with all kinds of disciplines: therapists, chiropractors, physicians, nurses, social workers, lactation consultants, childhood development experts, and more.

If you are interested in learning more about what we do and how we care for families, we’d be happy to provide an in-person or virtual inservice for you and your colleagues.

When you come to Baby Bear for a cranial consultation, we take a few measurements of your baby’s head. One measurement is the Transcranial Diagonal Difference (TDD). It’s a simple, but useful measurement to assess whether or not a baby has plagiocephaly and/or if they would be a good candidate for a helmet.
