Today the residents in both buildings celebrated the coming in of the new year! We had a great time eating snacks, treats and toasting with "champagne" afyer a countdown. Lots a fun and big smiles. Happy New Year everybody!!

Our residents got a visit from the Jolly Ole Elf today! Santa led everybody in some Christmas carols before handing out gifts. It seems as though they were all on the nice list. There was also a little one who was seeing Santa for the first time. I think it was a very successful visit.

We had a great time celebrating our Grinchmas Party last night with our residents and their families/friends! Lots of great food, fun and many laughs! We even had a visit from the Grinch himself!! A heartfelt thanks to all who volunteered to help and to those who donated the yummy dishes! A big thanks to our director, Brooke for her support with another crazy Christmas Party!! A huge shoutout to Cliff Kruse for providing our entertainment!! Oh, i forgot to mention..it was also National Ugly Christmas Sweater day! P.s. yes, the Grinch was gifted an onion!! Can't understand why nobody wanted to share it with him! Lol

We have had a busy week so far!! We've celebrated by watching movies, decorating cookies, making ornaments and getting Christmas nails, but there have also been some fun spirit days. Monday - pajamas, Tuesday - flannel, Wednesday - Red/green day and Twin day today. Too much fun!!

Another great day at CP French Rd! We had a great group from Catholic Financial Life (St Thomas Moore) who helped resident make beautiful Christmas cards and play cards (Sheephead and cribbage). They provided yummy cookies and punch and handed out poinsettias. We love when they come visit!!

We had a great day today filled with music and fun! Memory Care had a Christmas sing a long and Mission Karaoke was enjoyed in Assisted Living. We put the finishing touches on decorating and the big tree is up!

The last couple days have been busy for all of our residents! The memory care residents played some very competitive games of UNO and the Assisted Living residents made some beautiful ornaments for Christmas!
