Remember all, the display you are used to seeing over the years is gone. I miss it myself honestly........Wishing you all a great holiday season this year with what we've had to deal with in 2020. Hope for a better 2021....

So....had some people from Oshkosh stop by last night to look at all of my Christmas display equipment I'm selling. Wanted to expand on their current display so they ended up buying a decent amount. Would have taken more had they a larger yard. That being said I still have a bunch of stuff including the larger mega tree. I'll probably be completely taking everything apart and selling lights by the string. And will end up having about 7 or 8 controllers I'll move to other decorators. Kind of bittersweet, but has to be done. Lots of icicle lights strings in blue,green,red or white. As well varying lengths of the same in straight strings. All are commercial grade, 20,000 hr lights.

So....a couple of the first people to say they wanted to buy a good portion of my display equipment ended up not taking as much as it looked or sounded like they wanted. That being said I have a bunch of stuff for sale. I know several of you on here had mentioned you would be interested. Complete, 48 channels, 4 colors, 3 LOR controllers 16 channels each, frame, base, telescoping center pole, over 7000 lights, 20' high.....Also 8 midi trees, 4 colors, 5' high, 1000+ lights on each with two, 16 channels LOR controllers.....11 banks of icicle lights on 7' sticks of 1/2 CPVC, 4 colors, Approx 77 running feet. Plenty of light strings, curtain strobes, 5M strobe strings, 2 sets of LOR 10 watt hi Intensity RGB flood light with controller. Each set includes 24 channels LOR controller, and 8 floods with 16' cords, lots of extension cords. Multi plugs, pig tails for strobes. Digital AM/FM transmitter. 9 channel red fan, 10' across base, 5' high in center. 2 red Bellagio poles, 7 channels each, 10' high. 3x7 foot Merry Christmas sign. Over 250 running feet of 4 colors, C6 super strings that ran around the entire perimeter of the front yard. Dozens of 6" candy canes, variety of flavors. Including some pictures. Most of you have seen in person while visiting our display...

4 more nights to come see our last run for the display. Tonight and tomorrow we are running to 10. New year's Eve and New year's until 11. Plus beginning tommorow night it looks like there will be nature's best reflector, SNOW on the ground to give us some bounce. I've been hoping for it to take some videos....

Rain or no rain. OUR lights will be on tonight until 11pm. And with a soggy Sunday in the forecast for tomorrow, they'll be on until 10.

Another Merry Christmas shout out to our followers and visitors. You still have plenty of time to swing buy and see the display before we go dark. Tonight we are on to 11. Hopefully not as foggy as last night!! Thursday we are on to 10, and then Fri and Saturday to 11 again. Expect it will be moderate to busy at times. Sunday and Monday then to 10, and back to 11 for New year's Eve and night. I'll also be bringing back in the two Trans-Siberian Orchestra pieces I cut to shorten things up by the weekend. They are First Snow, and Wizards in Winter.

Also forgot to mention.....A good part of my equipment is being bought to be used at the Fox Cities Festival of Lights in their display in Darboy Community Park. Some is headed to Clintonville. And I have a list of others interested.....

Merry Christmas to everyone that has come by to see our last run of the display this year. Appreciate you visiting us over the years, and all of the notes and emails we've received. This being Christmas Eve is our big night of the year for traffic. I wish we could be outside in the milder weather as Annika loves handing out candy canes. But my favorite neighbor sadly said that if he sees her out he was calling the police and report that she is out panhandling. Rather than explain that to an 11 year old, we just hoped everything went smoothly enough we didn't need to be out. If I went out she always followed .....

A very heartfelt thank you for all the notes, texts, emails, etc from those that have reached out thanking us for the display over the years. Always have said that is a huge part of why we do it.
The next 6 nights are what we call peak nights as it's when things are the craziest around anyone that does these displays. I have shortened the program to 3 songs to keep things moving a bit quicker. At that the word is patience. This is going to be a 5 day weekend for many. There will be parties on our court and cars parked in the street causing some congestion. Be patient with each other, and more important respectful of each other as well as our neighbors. Show will last about 12 minutes should you stay for all 3 songs. Those songs are Polar Express, Oh Come/Oh Holy Night, and Christmas Eve Sarajevo by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Enjoy!! And Merry Christmas to you all !!

Great night to come see the display. Packers won!! Clear and cold, and Sunday traffic is usually a bit mellower. As we get closer to Christmas it will get continually busier with traffic volume. If you can, try to get by these next 4 or 5 nights instead of waiting until this next Friday through Christmas. You will thank yourself. Remember to drive all the way around the court. I know it's more convenient to turn into a driveway quick to turn around, but half way through the season the neighbors will appreciate less headlights in their front windows the next couple of weeks. Love the traffic the display draws, but the party busses???? One of the first things we ask is to not play the radio too loudly. If I can hear it inside, my neighbors can as well. Please keep this in mind when you come through......7:30 isn't bad, but 8:30 kids are going to bed.

Well, fought weather again today and I have a couple minor bugs to work out, but the display is up and running Nov 30th as planned. 6 or 8 inches of snow depending on who you listen to, so a couple things left will have to be in the snow. As usual, regardless of the weather, I am running tonight.
