🎨☕ Cabin Fever Reliever Month Fun! 🍪🖍️

We’re brightening these winter days with a Coloring Social at our retirement community! Residents enjoyed a relaxing afternoon filled with creativity, good conversation, tea and cookies, and plenty of colorful masterpieces.

Coloring is a wonderful way to unwind, spark creativity, and connect with friends—making it the perfect activity this month! 💙

January's activity theme is "Cabin Fever Reliever!" Our bus is on the move bringing residents out and about - trips to the casino, local stores for shopping, restaurants, and exploring new sights!

Featured are the many smiling faces of the residents at their Christmas party a few days ago. The party was 1950s themed - the drinks, appetizers, games, and songs brought back all the nostalgia and so much Christmas cheer!

Ho ho ho! 🎅🏼✨ Santa’s workshop was in full swing as we got crafty making adorable Santa ornaments. It was festive fun creating these jolly keepsakes—perfect for reminding us to stay on Santa’s nice list this year!! 🎄

We had a wonderful time welcoming Girl Scouts Troop 2541 who hosted a festive Christmas Prize Bingo for our residents this past Friday! 🎄🎁 Thank you to these amazing young volunteers for making the season a little brighter for everyone! ✨

Cold weather didn’t stop us this Saturday morning! ❄️ We stayed warm inside, got moving with a Christmas themed fitness class, and wrapped up the morning with Christmas Present Bingo 🎁🎄. Lots of smiles, laughter, and festive fun made it a wonderful way to start the weekend!

Our Hot Cocoa Pajama party was pure cozy chaos in the best way! Residents arrived in their snuggliest PJs, sipped cocoa piled high with marshmallows & whipcream, played a gift exchange game, and sang some Christmas tunes!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Appleton Retirement Community!

Residents enjoyed their very own "5th Annual Turkey Trot Race" this morning and are now finishing up their delicious Thanksgiving meal with a piece of pumpkin pie 🥧 🦃

We had the sweetest visit from the 1st and 2nd graders at St. Paul Lutheran School! The kids came by to read to our residents, and it was such a joy watching them practice their reading skills and share their favorite stories.
Our residents absolutely loved spending time with these bright young readers — there were lots of laughs and smiles by all!
Thank you, St. Paul Lutheran, for bringing so much warmth and energy to our day! We can’t wait for your next visit! 💕
