Today, the winter solstice begins. It reminds us that even in the longest night, the light is never lost; it is simply waiting to be seen again.

We chose today for our Remembrance Gathering because it reflects both the quiet of loss and the promise of light returning. We come together as a community to remember those we have lost this year, to speak their names, share their stories, and honor the ways they touched our lives. In being together, we find comfort, connection, and the reassurance that none of us walks through grief alone.
