Dr Wendy Schroeder

I am a family physician in Appleton WI with over 15 years of experience in care of all ages. I enjoy caring for patients of all ages, from newborn to hospice.

I am particularly interested in health and wellness, preventive care, breastfeeding, mental health, pediatrics, weight loss, and sports medicine. I am a DO which means Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and I enjoy using osteopathic manipulation/manual medicine to help my patients with back and neck pain, headaches and all types of problems. I grew up on a dairy farm here in Northeast WI. I attended UW La Crosse and earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. I attended Des Moines University in Iowa from 2002-2006
I did my family practice residency in Appleton with the UW Health Residency Program.

Buckle up- last week the American Heart Association along with the American College of Cardiology released new cholesterol guidelines- and they are DOOZIES! 100+ pages and extremely more aggressive. (Couldn’t have anything to do with our government recommending beef tallow and alcohol , could it🤷🏻‍♀️?). So, don’t be surprised when we are recommending earlier testing, more aggressive treatment in addition to those pesky fruits/veges/exercise, and testing more often to make sure we are at goal. 🌈⭐️
