CBC said it lost about 200 donation appointments in just one day, thus losing the potential to help hundreds of local hospital patients.

Due to winter weather, The Community Blood Center's Appleton and Heart of the Valley Donor Centers and Merrill location will be closed March 16. The Wausau Donor Center opens at 10:30 a.m.

Currently, all other donor centers remain open. As conditions improve, please consider rebooking your appointment to help replenish the blood supply. Stay safe and thank you for your generosity.
