Different type of Conference today. Attending the Surgical Collaborative of Wisconsin Annual meeting. Medical health, and mental health are so interconnected I feel it’s a due diligence to keep up to date with improvements in procedures, treatment strategies and concerns people may face. Who better to hear this from but the surgeons themselves? Beautiful day for learning, great food and company.

NAMI Womens Wellness, August Meetup. We had a great turnout, and despite some miss-haps with materials we had an amazing time! We had three stations to choose from, and rotate as the event went on. People received a taste of paper making with pulp and screens / fun shapes, paper painting with a new technique, and created mini journals to take home! With time left over some chose to decorate their journals or engage in some watercolor painting. Keep an eye out for future workshops, it was a pleasure working with this group as always.
