π Today marks the bittersweet end of an era. After much contemplation, I've made the difficult decision to close the doors of my fitness studio, Inspirations Fitness Studio as I shift all of my focus to Kidspirations Dance School. It's a decision that comes with mixed emotions, but one that I know is the right step for this next chapter of my journey.
As I reflect on the past decade, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the countless moments of warmth, laughter, and connection that we've experienced together. From the very beginning, Inspirations was born out of a passion for inspiring women to achieve their fitness goals in an environment that felt welcoming and inclusive. It was a space where jokes were shared, stories were told, and friendships were formed. Our family-friendly concept broke down barriers and provided a haven for women to work out without the worries of childcare.
I've had the privilege of teaching hundreds of incredible women, leading over 10,000 classes across a variety of formats, from the graceful movements of Barre and Balletone to the high-energy beats of PiYo, Pound, and LaBlast/ Cardio Dance. Together, we've sweated through Kettlebell AMPD, embraced the thrilling intensity of Kickboxing (Barre Fight), and found our flow in Pulse and Flow. The list goes on, and every class held its own unique magic.
Through waves of different groups over the years, I've been humbled to witness the incredible connections forged between women. Some have become my dearest friends, and together, we've shared in each other's victories, loved ones' milestones, and steadied one another through life's challenges. The memories we've created, from celebrating births and weddings to simply enjoying the camaraderie of our workouts, will forever hold a special place in my heart.
As we navigated life changes, weathered the storm of Covid, and adapted to the world of online teaching, our bond only grew stronger. Now, as this chapter comes to a close, I look forward to fully pouring my heart into my other business, Kidspirations Dance School. The passion and energy that fueled Inspirations is alive and strong.
To all who have been a part of this incredible journey, I am eternally grateful for your support, dedication, and unwavering spirit. Your presence has made Inspirations a place of warmth, laughter, and strength, and I carry every memory with me as I step into the future.
There are so many of my 'clients' who have become more than that - you are my friends and I love you! I could go on and on for each of you and the magic that you brought to my world.
Here's to the end of an era and the bright new beginnings that lie ahead. Onward and upward. π©·π©΅π
