Happy January all you lovers of herbs!! Even though there are no visible fresh herbs (just cold white stuff), that doesn't mean that we can't fill our daily winter lives with herbs! There's nothing more cozy than a nice cup of hot herbal tea and a warm blanket. Also January is a time to slow down a bit, so on a nice snowy day, get out some great herbal books and study herbs, plan your garden, and hopefully on a nice non snowy day, it's a great time to come into the shop and take a class about herbs or any of the other super fun events that we have going on at the Appleton classroom.

Whether we are in great health, or know we could improve, we can't have great health without the body truly working properly. Nowadays, we go about our daily life not really thinking about all the poisons that are inundating our bodies. Some of us try to eat organic because of course we don't want the cucumber that has been sprayed with cancer causing chemicals.
