One of the many gifts of midwifery care is the freedom and encouragement for mothers to listen to their bodies. There’s no “one right way” to birth—only the way that feels best, safest, and most powerful for you. Squatting, standing, hands-and-knees, side-lying, or in the water… when you have the freedom to move, your body knows exactly what to do.

Born in the water at the birth center, weighing 8lb 7oz, Myles made his grand entrance after a beautiful 8-hour labor. His amazing mom—just shy of 42 weeks—trusted her body and brought him earthside with the loving support of her husband and doula (shout out to Heather of GB doulas!) by her side.

This incredible first-time mom surrounded herself with love and preparation—and it showed. 💜 She took our Hypnobirthing class, hired a BirthWise doula, leaned on her amazing husband, and trusted the hands of two midwives who cared for her every step of the way.

All that support led to a beautiful birth center experience, where sweet Roselyn made her grand entrance at 7lb 12oz—arriving with a strong, immediate cry to let us all know she was here! Welcome, Roselyn. ✨

This amazing momma strolled into the birth center at 10:50pm already rocking active labor. By 11:15pm she casually said, “This must be really boring for you guys.” (No way momma, this is not boring for us at all!!) Fast forward just an hour and a half, and her sweet baby girl Elliana made her grand entrance—peacefully born in the water and lovingly caught by her proud dad. ✨ Welcome, Elliana. What a beautiful night to be born! 💜

At 7 lbs 14 oz, this beautiful firstborn made her grand entrance surrounded by so much love and support. Her amazing momma was cheered on by her devoted husband, guided by Midwife Sara, and held in the most tender care of her sisters—Jess, serving as both midwife and sister (what a gift!), and Lily, also her sister and one of our wonderful BirthWise doulas.

What an unforgettable moment to see family, sisterhood, and midwifery all come together for such a perfect welcome. đź’•

BirthWise Wellness Center is looking to collaborate with a passionate photographer to capture the incredible journey of pregnancy, birth, and those first tender moments afterward.

We are looking for someone who can offer:

Maternity sessions celebrating the beauty of pregnancy

Labor & birth photography (in-home, birth center or hospital) capturing those raw, powerful moments

Fresh 48 sessions to document those precious first days

Our families deeply value these memories, and we’re looking for someone who loves working closely with growing families and understands the sensitivity and respect needed in birth spaces.
