March is Lymphedema Awareness Month 💙

Lymphedema affects up to 30% of breast cancer survivors, but early detection can make a big difference. At our clinic, we use SOZO® technology, a quick, non-invasive test that helps detect fluid changes early—often before symptoms begin.

Early detection means earlier treatment and better outcomes.

Did you know colore**al cancer is one of the most preventable cancers with routine screening?

Our practice is proud to participate in a clinical research initiative aimed at improving colore**al cancer detection and expanding access to screening.

By participating in research, we are helping advance the future of colore**al cancer prevention and care.

If you are age 45 or older—or have a family history—it may be time to talk with your provider about screening.

Did you know?
✅ Colore**al cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S., but it is also one of the most preventable.
✅Screening saves lives—early detection can prevent up to 90% of colore**al cancers from developing or spreading.

Symptoms to Watch For:
⚠️Changes in bowel habits (diarrhea, constipation, or narrowing of stools) that last more than a few days.
⚠️Blood in the stool or re**al bleeding.
⚠️Unexplained weight loss or persistent fatigue.
⚠️Abdominal pain or cramping that doesn’t go away.

Screening & Prevention
👨🏽‍⚕️Colonoscopy is the gold standard for detection and prevention—it can find and remove precancerous polyps before they turn into cancer.
4️⃣5️⃣ The American Cancer Society recommends screenings starting at age 45 (or earlier if you have risk factors).
🥬 A healthy diet rich in fiber, fruits, and vegetables can lower your risk.
🏋🏿‍♀️Regular physical activity and maintaining a healthy weight can help reduce your risk.
