Sidewalk Snow Shoveling Requirements:
Keeping sidewalks clear is essential for pedestrian safety! Property owners or occupants must remove snow and ice from public sidewalks adjacent to their properties.

What You Need to Know:
-Snow & Ice Removal Deadline: Within 36 hours after snowfall ends.
-Ice Treatment: If ice accumulates, apply salt to prevent it from becoming slippery until it can be removed.

What Happens If You Don’t Shovel Or Clear The Ice?
-If the City is notified of an uncleared sidewalk (we do not actively seek violations), we will remove the snow. The cost is:
--$75 base fee + $0.40 per foot after the first 100 feet, billed to the property owner.
