Having a passion for empowering parents in their journey through parenthood, Ruth has gathered skills and experience over the last 19 years of being a mother. She recently completed her education in Homeopathy after spending years treating her family with holistic medicine; she has been helping friends and family with homeopathic remedies, as well, and with this knowledge she has navigated many co
mmon childhood illnesses of her children without needing to resort to antibiotics. Everything from pink eye to measles, or ear infections, or the flu, or torn ankle ligaments to concussions and even bee stings can be treated successfully with Homeopathic remedies! Ruth has an affinity for babies and children from her training in Childbirth Education, being a birth Doula and working with babies as young as 30 minutes old administering Craniosacral Therapy. Ruth trained in Craniosacral Therapy when she was pregnant with her 4th child ten years ago and when she experienced a difficult time in the first 8 weeks of that pregnancy. After a brief hospitalization for dehydration she found herself, again, being faced with a choice of western medicine drugs, or healing with the alternative therapies of Homeopathy and Craniosacral Therapy. After choosing the latter her own Homeopathic Practitioner asked her the poignant question of: “When are you going to become a Homeopath?” Now, 8 years after that question she offers gentle treatment as a Certified Classical Homeopath and continues her Craniosacral Therapy practice, too. Ruth’s office is in Applewood close to her home where she and her four children enjoy the Colorado lifestyle of outdoor mountain adventures. She also has a passion for changing education to engage the whole child and is collaborating to open a Waldorf Inspired Charter High School where every class is infused with art and hands-on learning.
