Let's talk about some common causes and practical fixes for bloating.

Here are some quick tips to manage it.
Try to stay hydrated and watch out for carbonated drinks. Carbonated drinks can make it worse.

H. pylori: A Small Bacteria Not to Ignore🦠

H. pylori is a common stomach infection that may cause ongoing discomfort. The thing is, many people walking around don’t even know they have it.

Symptoms can include upper-abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, loss of appetite, or early feelings of fullness. In some cases, it can lead to ulcers or ongoing indigestion. 🤢

If your stomach symptoms won’t resolve on their own, maybe it's time to get tested.
Our GI specialists can check for H. pylori using a breath test, stool test, or sometimes a biopsy during an upper endoscopy.

The good news — it’s treatable. If you’re experiencing these symptoms, talk to your doctor and get back to feeling like yourself. 💛

Are you catching enough Zzz’s? Or tossing and turning most nights?

We often hear about the risks of being sleep deprived. But have you considered how a lack of sleep could affect your gut health?

Quality sleep helps regulate gut motility, supports a healthy microbiome, and helps with symptoms like bloating, reflux, and abdominal discomfort. If you’re trying to improve your sleep and gut health, here are a few things to help improve your sleep.
• Skip heavy meals at least 3 hours before your head hits the pillow.
• Create a wind-down ritual before bed— this could look like dimming the lights and spending a few minutes to try box breathing.
• Say no to caffeine towards the later part of the day — even small amounts can interrupt your ability to fall sleep

What’s your favorite bedtime ritual? Drop a comment below.
