Welcome to our monthly gathering for all things birth!

We are opening our doors, arms, hearts and minds for you - you who are preparing, recovering, grandmothering or simply getting curious about birth.

Each gathering will hold space to get curious, unlearn concepts no longer serving you, share wisdom, and empower your internal compass.

This heart-centered group will be led by Dr. Lauren Cruz, prenatal, pediatric and family chiropractor, and doula, and Ashley MacLaughlin, seasoned mama and midwife apprentice who has spent over a decade nurturing women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

We are connecting playfulness and real talk in a safe and supportive way as we navigate the journey of motherhood.

Our first gathering will begin to explore the two questions we get most often. What is physiologic birth? And how might chiropractic play a role in the prenatal and pediatric space?

Let’s never underestimate the value of taking care of yourself.

Be well, be you. It’s a simple but challenging feat especially when we live in a fast world full of fleeting distractions demanding our attention and resources.

Choosing to take care of yourself means you are consuming that which nourishes your mind, body and spirit. A vessel fueling itself with life giving sustenance.

Have you ever considered the impact you could make with a fully charged and supported system?

*Imagine the kind of energy you would have at the end of the day if you fell in love with being kind to yourself*

How would that change your environment? Your relationships? Your life?

Support starts with showing up to advocate for yourself. Slow down, breathe, listen to your body - what do you need?

We exist to hold space for you in this time of growth. Where you can give yourself permission to have your needs met. Where even if you don’t know what you need, we can be a sounding board to discover what might add some ease into your life.

Kindness and clarity are excellent sources of power!!

…or feeling just okay / alright / mid / any other qualifier we place on “I’m not doing my best and I actually might need some help!”

Becoming ‘perfectly fine’ has become a badge of honor where in reality it’s a badge of burnout. Imagine a world without halfheartedness or mediocrity. One where the true flex could be found in a person who embraces the adaptations required for life and feels no guilt for acknowledging their ever changing needs.

How much easier would it be then to ask for support without shame?

How much more genuine would our check-ins be if what was common was to pause before tuning into our body, mind & soul without judgement?

How much time would we save if we felt safe enough to answer honestly?

How could this shifted paradigm dismantle stigmas and inform accessibility for *health* care over people management?

It starts with being honest with oneself. With choosing to live in vitality. You hold the power of your own healing. Trust you can transform your greatest stress into your greatest liberation.
