Meet Arielle Aryn Kurapati, PT, DPT, our newest physical therapist at the Corpus Christi clinic! Learn more about her—and be sure to say hi next time you're in for physical therapy!

1️⃣ Why did you become a physical therapist?
I went through physical therapy in college due to a sports injury. The care and compassion my PT showed me—and their dedication to helping me reach my goals—left a lasting impression. My goal is to do the same for all of my patients!

2️⃣ What do you like to do during your free time?
I love going to the beach, playing golf, watching movies, playing video games, and spending time with my dog, Maui!

3️⃣ Where did you study, and when did you graduate?
I’m a new grad—I graduated from UT Health San Antonio in May 2025!

4️⃣ What is your favorite stretch or adjustment to do?
Any neck mobilizations or stretches—but nothing is as satisfying as a good thoracic manipulation!

5️⃣ What’s your favorite snack?
This is a tough one, but I’d say either Funyuns or Buc-ee’s chocolate-covered almonds!

Stepping On is an evidence-based program designed to help older adults prevent falls, build confidence, and maintain their independence. This is now our second time getting to go around the costal bend and teach this demographic some valuable life skills! It is an honor!

Through a series of interactive workshops, participants learn practical strategies to reduce their risk of falling, including:

1️⃣ Strengthening exercises to improve balance and coordination
2️⃣ Information about how to manage medications and vision
3️⃣ Tips on making homes safer and identifying fall hazards
4️⃣ Advice from healthcare professionals on how to stay active and healthy

Meet Yvonne Ramirez, PT! 👋
Director of our Corpus Christi clinic. Did you know these fun facts? Let us know in the comments if you’ve ever been treated by Yvonne!

Yvonne A. Ramirez, P.T., is the Director of our Corpus Christi location. She was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Yvonne attended Mary Carroll High School and graduated in 1998. She then attended Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where she majored in Biology.

While in college, Yvonne worked as a technician at Humpal Physical Therapy, where she gained valuable experience and realized this was the profession she wanted to pursue. She later transferred to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2004.

After graduation, Yvonne moved to Houston, Texas, where she practiced physical therapy for over four years. She became Neuro-IFRAH certified and specialized in treating patients with strokes and head injuries.

In November 2008, Yvonne returned to Corpus Christi and rejoined her Humpal PT family. Since then, she has developed a strong interest in orthopedic sports medicine.

Yvonne is currently certified in Objective Functional Capacity Evaluations and Employment Testing Protocols.
