For everyone struggling
through this festive period,
I see you.
For those of you who have lost
a treasured loved one,
I feel you.
Sometimes the memories
run too deep
and Christmastime brings
all those heartfelt feelings
to the fore.
A photo , a scent, a song,
all have the power to
take us back to happier times,
bygone Christmases, where
everyone was present
and everything felt perfect.
If we could converse
with the missing ones,
One thing is for sure,
They would say
'Enjoy it for me'
So, let's hang the tinsel
let's deck the halls and
lay an extra place
at the table
With them in mind.
Raise a glass and
remember all who are missing
From the table..
You remain in our hearts

Winter: A Season of Rest and Restoration

By following the cues
that Nature generously provides,
we set the tone of our days
and discover,
in each unfolding season,
a gentler pace
and a softer rhythm in our lives.

Winter arrives,
whispering softly of the need for rest,
inviting us to slow down,
to breathe,
and to savor the solace
that drifts softly, like silent snowflakes across our hearts.

In this season of stillness,
we withdraw
from the hurried tempo of our days,
from the busyness that tugs
like constant and restless winds.

Here, in the quiet,
we find shelter,
a place to dream,
time to pause,
and space to imagine
all the plans and possibilities
preparing to bloom
in the next season of our lives.

And when the world stirs again,
we emerge
with renewed grace and resilience,
feeling rested and restored,
ready for whatever may lie ahead.

Choose a Different Thought Today

A single thought
has the power
to redirect
the current of a whole life.

The story you tell yourself
in this moment
becomes the soil

Choose a thought
that feels brighter,
that softens your fear,

Finding Peace in the Flow

Releasing all attachment to outcomes,
I surrender to what is.

I soften my grip
on the way I thought life should be.

I breathe out the weight of control,
and breathe in the spaciousness of trust.

I surrender to this moment,
just as it is,
not perfect, not broken,
but alive, whole, and unfolding.

Each breath reminds me:
I do not need to force.
I do not need to know.
I only need to be.

If it’s out of my hands,
I let it out of my mind too.

Like a river
finding its way to the sea,
life carries me without effort.

The more I release,
the more I am carried.

Here, in surrender,
I discover freedom.

Here, in acceptance,
I touch peace.
