Nancy Marie Warner

Nancy Marie Warner, age 84, sadly passed away on January 7, 2026. Nancy was a woman of kindness and resilience who found joy in giving to others. For years, she was a familiar face at Schreiber Automotive and Giant Pharmacy where she worked. Her home in Catonsville was a sanctuary with an open door and an ever-full cookie jar for generations of family friend’s local teens and young adults. Nancy's life was defined by her selfless years caring for 'Gramp' until he reached the remarkable age of 103. Though her own path was often difficult, she loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally.

Nancy found peace in nature—working in her yard among the daffodils, watching the birds, and feeding the neighborhood deer, squirrels, and foxes. She had a love for music and dancing, even allowing years of band practices in her basement. For the last eight years, she faced a battle with COPD with the same quiet strength she carried throughout her life. She will be remembered for her generous heart and gentle warmth.

Nancy Marie Warner was born in Maryland to the late William and Josephine Warner (nee Carrieri). Nancy is the devoted mother of Bruce Nagy, Douglas Glassband and Wendy Atkinson; loving mother-in-law of Donna Nagy, Brian Atkinson, and Carrie Diefes; beloved grandmother of Brandon Nagy, Kaylie Glassband, Taylor Glassband, Brent Nagy, Melissa Lepson, and Gabrielle Lepson; cherished sister of William Warner, Sr. and his wife, Nancy; dear aunt of William Warner, Jr., Kathy Warner, David Warner and his wife, Jackie, and Jean Warner; caring cousin of Bruce, Patty, Beth, Richard, and Jane. Nancy is also survived by her beloved friend, Carolyn Lissau and former husband Paul Glassband, along with many other loving family members and friends.

Family and friends may gather at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Thursday, January 15 from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm.
