New year, better vision habits. Here’s what we’re officially done with in 2026 👀
1. Ordering “blue block” glasses online. Without a real exam and proper measurements, those lenses often miss the mark and don’t actually solve eye strain.
2. Skipping annual eye exams because your vision feels fine. A lot of eye issues don’t show symptoms early, so catching changes sooner makes a big difference.
3. Sleeping in contacts. We know it happens, but it seriously increases your risk for infections and long term damage.
4. Not removing eye makeup or mascara. Old makeup carries bacteria that can lead to irritation, styes, and dry eye flare ups.
5. Excessive screen time. Too much screen time can leave your eyes tired, dry, and strained and even mess with your sleep.
