✨ Arise and Shine ✨

Have you ever felt God nudging you toward something bigger… even when it feels a little scary?

This verse has been on my heart lately:

“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”
— Isaiah 60:1

Years ago, I never imagined I would be stepping into opportunities to speak and share my story. I was simply a nurse who loved helping people and wanted others to understand their bodies and their health.

But over time, God kept nudging me…
Keep learning.
Keep sharing.
Keep serving.

And now doors are opening for me to speak to more people about hope, healing, and empowerment.

To be honest, it’s a little humbling… and a little scary. But when you know something has the power to help others, you can’t keep it to yourself.

So I’m choosing to arise and shine… not for me, but for the people who are still searching for answers.

If you’ve ever felt a small nudge in your heart to do something bigger…
don’t ignore it.

Sometimes that nudge is God calling you to step into your light.

This morning I saw a tiny seed.
It started in the dark dirt.
But it opened and grew 𝘶𝘱 toward the light.
That is how it became a plant. That was its job.

Sometimes we feel like we are still in the dark too:
tired, hurting, no joy, no clear purpose.

God gave you a body and a purpose.
You do not have to stay stuck.
You can grow toward the light and choose better health.

Car Thoughts 🚗🌧️

Today I was driving in the gray, rainy weather
and God reminded me of two things:

1️⃣ Sometimes we are so tired and busy
we miss the “flowers” He puts right in front of us.

2️⃣ Sometimes we move so fast
our body is here… but our soul feels far behind.

😔 Pain points:
Always rushing.
Always tired.
Hard to feel joy.

💛 Gentle reminder:
Slow down.
Look for one small blessing today.
Let your soul catch up.

Today I taught a small class and did a live demo of a simple wellness tool people are using alongside healthy habits — and the biggest takeaway was this:

Yesterday I talked to a man who said something I’ll never forget:

“Chris… I hurt so bad. I can’t do anything. I’m at the end of my rope.”

We walked through what he was currently doing, what his body was doing, and what small adjustments could shift the whole direction. I shared information and research to look at.

A couple hours later, I called him back…
and I heard it.

Hope.

He said, “Oh my goodness… this makes so much sense.”
So we made a new game plan.

And then I had other conversations yesterday too… with people who are “at the end of the rope”… but they won’t change anything. They complain about their health, but refuse the next step.

Hard truth:
What you’re not willing to change… you’re choosing.

This morning before the barn, I read this:
“When you’re desperate, thank God.”

That line hit me deep.

Because desperation is not always the end.
Sometimes it’s the moment God stretches you, grows you, and opens a door you couldn’t see before.

So here’s the question:
If you’ve been praying for a solution…
what if it’s already being placed in your path, but you’re too tired or closed off to notice it?

And then this quote melted me:

“If you’re not changing it, you’re choosing it.”

Because staying the same feels safe…
until you realize it’s also a decision.

Not changing = choosing the same pain.
Choosing the same pattern.
Choosing the same “one day.”

Change is scary, yes.
But so is waking up a year from now… still stuck.

So here’s the move for today:
✨ Choose courage.
✨ Choose trust.
✨ Surrender what’s holding you back.
✨ Give it to Him.

Good morning from the barn. 🐴☀️
A thought for 2026 that might hit you right in the heart:

Most people are the “walking dead”… and they don’t even know it.
Not physically. Spiritually. Emotionally. Purpose-wise.

So here’s the question:
What is holding you back from living your life to the fullest?
What feels like a chain around your neck? A bo***ge you’ve gotten used to?

This year, I was asked to choose a Word of the Year.
The first word that came to me was FREEDOM.
Then it became even clearer: “Free to be me.”
And when I owned that… I felt peace deep in my soul.

One of my favorite quotes says it best:
“Become the person God created you to be, and you will set the world on fire.” Saint Catherine of Siena

I shot this video days ago, and maybe you need to hear it today.

As we step into a new year, it’s easy to race ahead with goals and resolutions. But here’s the question that’s been on my heart:

👉 If you only had one week left to live, how would you live 2026 differently?

Would you slow down a little?
Be more present with the people in front of you?
Notice the small blessings in your day?
Love others the way Jesus loved others, with simple, quiet acts of kindness?

A smile in the parking lot.
Holding the door.
Helping with groceries.
Telling a child they’re special.

Tiny moments. Eternal impact. 💛
