Rapha Acupuncture and Herbs

Rapha Acupuncture and Herbs We work with you to achieve your optimal health through the most safe, effective and natural way. We work to target the root of the problem, not the branch.

In Rapha Acupuncture and Herbs, our mission is to restore, improve and maintain the health of our patients through Chinese Medicine with compassion and individual customized patient care. By finding out the root problem and eliminate the factor that’s causing all the symptoms, we activate your bodies to heal naturally. (Without serious side effects, harmful procedures or lifelong dependency)

If you have more than one issue; for example, headache, stomach ache and stress, we can target all of them at the same time if it’s from the same root. Each patient will be prescribed a customized acupuncture and/or herbal prescription that specifically meet the needs of the individual. In California, acupuncturists are considered primary health care physicians.

🍼 Full Story: After being pressured to schedule an induction… my patient went into labor naturally after acupuncture yesterday.

This mama has actually been coming in consistently throughout her pregnancy for wellness acupuncture, so I’ve been able to support her the whole way. Because of that, I knew both she and baby were strong and healthy.

We started focusing on labor preparation around 39 weeks to support smooth, natural progression.

At the 40-week mark, her OB scheduled her for an induction at 41 weeks and 2 days, which brought a lot of pressure and stress.

I encouraged her not to feel pressured by that timeline. Based on her pregnancy pulse, I felt confident she would have her baby before that scheduled date. What her body really needed was a safe, calm space, plenty of rest, and nourishing meals with good protein so her body could continue progressing naturally. I also gave her some TCM herb tea recommendations to do at home to support smooth labor.

At her Monday visit, her pregnancy pulse strongly suggested baby would arrive before the weekend.

By Wednesday she texted saying contractions hadn’t picked up yet, and with the induction date approaching, anxiety started creeping in.

She came in Thursday and Friday for acupuncture to help encourage further progression. Her pregnancy pulse had advanced even more, and I told her, “I probably won’t see you next week… baby is coming very soon.”

Friday afternoon she texted… contractions began.
Saturday morning (Today)… baby arrived.

Smooth labor. Healthy mama. Healthy baby.

P.S. first vid is a matching onesie she had gifted me since we both are having boys!! So sweet 💙 Love what I get to witness on a regular basis!

Sharing more of what I found at the

I’ve always love the effects of red Ginseng. It is different from regular Ginseng or American Ginseng in that it was a stronger energy boosting and warming effect. Here are the benefits:

- Boosts energy, stamina & focus
- Supports immunity & circulation
- Helps the body adapt to stress

Happy to find a convenient solution to having Red Ginseng - .us has these simple on-the-go extracts with all types of great flavors & herbal blends.

Maybe I’ll be carrying some in the future. I’m liking it so far. Stay tuned 🤫

A simple list inspired by my visit to booth TODAY ♥️

Here are a few things you can consider adding to your diet — all easy to find at a store near you:

• Bone Broth – rich in collagen and amino acids that help support skin elasticity and repair.

• Collagen Peptides – provides building blocks your body uses to strengthen skin, hair, and nails.

• Watermelon – high in water and vitamin C to help hydrate skin and support collagen production.

• Blueberries – packed with antioxidants that help protect skin from premature aging.

• Pears – gentle hydration with fiber and vitamin C to support healthy skin balance.

If you’re going from one skin products to the next, don’t forget - flourishing skin is an inside out job.

My Eczema Journey:

Over 15 years ago, I suffered greatly with eczema. While studying medicine, the amount of stress, poor lifestyle habits, and a lack of true understanding all triggered severe eczema across my face, ears, eyelids, fingers, and forehead.

My skin was raw, oozing, crusting, bleeding, unbearably itchy, and painful. I tried everything I was told to do-steroids, stronger steroids that eventually backfired, detox programs, strict elimination diets, gut protocols, and topical treatments ranging from pharmaceutical to the most natural remedies. Some helped briefly, then failed.

The emotional toll was heavy: sleepless nights, fear around food, withdrawal from social life, missing many important things because my skin was too inflamed to function.

Then the breakthrough came when I trained in Taiwan under a highly respected TCM master with decades of clinical experience treating complex, chronic eczema, who taught me Pattern Differentiation - an approach I had never learned before, yet it explained why nothing else worked.

I was treated using this method, applied it to my own condition, and healed completely. I’ve now been eczema-free for over 15 years.

Since then, as a TCM practioner helping over 1000+ eczema patients find real solutions, I believe I’m called to stand in this gap for those who are done using suppressing treatments via steroids & creams, and just to live with it.

There is a way out. And over 15 years of talking to patients, I realize people just want real HOPE. And giving them Clarity & Strategy is what will lead them to Tangible Hope.

You were told eczema is a surface issue.
It’s not.
Eczema is a signal — not the root problem.

THE TRUTH:

• It’s often driven by gut imbalance, immune dysregulation, detox congestion, and inflammation.

• Steroids suppress symptoms — they don’t resolve internal dysfunction.

• Skin can clear while the internal imbalance is still there.

• Genetics may load the gun — lifestyle and internal health pull the trigger.

• Healing is possible when you address the root (via TCM methods that’s proven over 1000+ cases).

If you’re tired of surviving eczema instead of resolving it — there is another way.

Comment “ECZEMA” and I’ll share with you a simple guide.

🧧Year of the Horse in TCM 🐎🔥

In Chinese medicine, Horse energy connects to the Heart and Fire element. That means this year tends to feel:
• Faster
• More social
• More emotional
• More movement
• More potential for burnout

So instead of just “go harder,”
TCM says: pace your fire. 🔥

Support your Heart energy this year:
• sleep on time
• hydrate
• don’t live on coffee
• calm the mind
• move your body, don’t just stress it

Horse year isn’t about slowing down.
It’s about not overheating while you run.
Stay at a steady pace this year. 🐎

Cold, rainy Lunar New Year — keep it warm, simple, and easy to digest. Here’s a little TCM-friendly lineup for today from me to you 🧧

🥣 Dish 1: Ginger Chicken Soup
Chicken + lots of fresh ginger + scallion.
→ Warms the body, supports immunity, helps push out cold.

🥟 Dish 2: Dumplings (any filling you like!)
Frozen works. Dip in vinegar with fresh ginger.
→ Tonifies qi, keeps circulation moving on a damp day.
(And it means to be prosperous!)

🍵 Tea: Red Date + Goji Tea
Simmer 10–15 minutes.
→ Nourishes blood and gently warms the system.

🍐 Fruit 1: Asian Pear (room temp or lightly steamed)
→ Moistens lungs and throat, helpful when cold rain dries you out but avoid eating it cold.

🍎 Fruit 2: Apple (best warm or room temp)
→ Supports digestion and the spleen; warm apples are easier on the gut in damp weather.

♥️ Rule of the day:
Warm > cold
Cooked > raw
Add ginger when you can.

🧧 Happy from Team Rapha!
