No matter how health conscious you are in this day & age, if you're not flora conscious, it’s all for naught! Flora consciousness is simply being aware of the flora you’re growing in the garden of your body. Our bodies naturally contain trillions of microbes essential to human health. They make up our microbiome, which mainstream medicine has only just begun to realize the importance of for its role in our immune system and so much more. We actually have ten times as many microbes in our bodies as we do human cells! They’re just smaller, so only comprise about 2 - 3% of an entire body’s mass. Since humans have been applying our intelligence to alter nature so drastically and create so many synthetics and chemical compounds that our bodies and the microbes they contain have not evolved with over millennia, our microbiomes and the microbes, or flora, they contain are being destroyed - and along with them, our good health. Microbiome destruction is the root of such a massive amount of health issues many face today in industrialized countries. It’s estimated that 90% of us are affected by it to some degree. When our microbiomes are destroyed, just like when a forest is cut down, opportunistic ‘weeds’ can come in and grow in its place, many of which produce extremely harmful toxins that destroy neurotransmitters, making it difficult for our brain cells to communicate and causing a host of resulting problems, including lack of concentration, inability to handle stress, anxiety, memory issues and much more. Making choices that proliferate the growth of beneficial flora and discourage the growth of destructive flora can go a long way in maximizing our health, as well as our potential. One of the ways we can do this is in the choices we make about what we eat and drink and put into, as well as onto, our bodies - even so far as what’s in the air we breathe. Tacos can be healthy! These BLACK BEAN & ZUCCHINI TACOS are very tasty, too & are suitable for phases 1 - 3 & 7 of my 7-Phase Flora Conscious Dietary System. Just fill 6 Organic Corn Tortillas fried in Coconut Oil with 1 1/2 cups Black Beans cooked with 1/4 tsp Cayenne, 1 tsp Garlic powder, 1 tsp Onion powder, 2 tsp Oregano & 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice, and top with Sautéed Zucchini & Green Onions and Guacamole. A side of Tomato Sauce to dip them in is optional.

Be really careful of what people tell you. Always look things up in books well known for accuracy, or something. There are all these people in this group claiming they use 50% Lugol's iodine topically all the time! HA! I think they are confusing Lugol's iodine with povidone-iodine typically sold in pharmacies. I dare anyone to put even just 7% Lugol's iodine on your skin & see what happens - 50%? - they do NOT know what they are talking about, lol. 7% is all you need to burn away skin cancer or infections nothing else is working for though. If you put 50% strength on your skin, I doubt you would have any skin left, seriously.

Crazy how many meal delivery service ads I see popping up in my feed that promote their meals as being good for gut health, but when I go to their website, none of their meals are good for gut health at ALL. Don't believe the hype.

Someone needs to fund MY flora-conscious meal delivery service and I'll show you what's ACTUALLY good for gut health.

I always wonder how long it will take for the term "flora conscious" to catch on. Remember, I'm the one who coined it in 2017! lol. Right now, if you search online for "flora conscious diet", my website comes up at the top of the search results. I hope it stays that way at LEAST until I get my business(es) off the ground and running - which depends on me having the time to market them, which I don't have YET.

Ever go to make a meal and you're not super excited about it because it seems kind of plain, but then you taste it and are like, OMG!?! lol. That happened to me today.

Flora-Conscious, Vegan, Bok Choy Caesar Salad
with a side of whole-grain buckwheat. Simple but SO yummy:

1 head of Romaine Lettuce, chopped
1 lb of Baby Bok Choy, chopped
1/2 pint Cherry Tomatoes, halved
1 Avocado, cubed
8 ounces of Haig's Organic Garlic Hummus
1/2 - 1 lb of Wildwood Super Firm Tofu, crumbled.
1/2 cup Buckwheat
Coconut Oil
Pink Salt

Cook the buckwheat. When done, mix in 2 Tbsp coconut oil and pink salt.

Cook the tofu in coconut oil until well done - crispy in some spots. Add pink salt, when done.

Mix all the veggies together with the avocado and hummus. Mix well.

Serve salad topped with tofu and buckwheat on the side.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: No one should rely on an MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome) diagnosis until their Microbiome Health has been COMPLETELY addressed FIRST & addressed appropriately. The same goes for CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) as well as a lot of other diseases that keep you a patient for life or longer than you need to be. Mast cells activate for a REASON. Inflammation happens for a REASON. They are normal, natural responses the body has to protect itself. While I do believe that MCAS and CIRS exist, I just think those diagnoses are handed out FAR too often. If you address your microbiome health completely and THEN you still have those problems, you'll know those or other diagnoses are correct. Dysbiosis affects 90% of people in industrialized countries to some degree. No matter what your health issues are, if microbiome health is not being addressed first, then not everything that could be done to get you well is being done.

Nature does NOT go haywire for NO reason. If doctors can't figure out the reason you're sick, address your microbiome health. It's only been 10 - 20 years that it's been recognized as important and while all the major universities have microbiome research departments now, it will take 100 years for that knowledge to trickle down into medical practices & most of us won't be around by then. We have to advocate for ourselves.

It's extremely difficult to address microbiome health, especially if it has affected your respiratory system and sinuses, so it's almost easier to just rely on these types of diagnoses and treat the symptoms, but you deserve better. The hard work is worth it. You deserve to be the most optimal version of yourself and to live your life to the highest degree of expression and enjoyment. Don't struggle with being sick forever. Struggle instead to do the hard work it takes to get well.

One day I will open a Microbiome Restoration and Healing Center that will make it easier for you, and my goal is to make it accessible to everyone, NOT just the wealthy. I've already had a meeting with a doctor in Croatia who wants it to be a department in a health center he's currently scoping out land to build on there, as he loved the pitch deck I created for it. I just need to create a business plan. That's the next step.

After I move into my new house which should provide the environment I need to get well, as well as make doing the most basic things SO much easier with less energy and time required than it does in my current apartment where I have to work so hard to keep my environment liveable due to shared walls and a laundry room down the hall, more of my energy and time should be freed up to do things like work on a business plan. So, it's coming.

WHY NATURAL ANTIBIOTICS DON'T DESTROY YOUR MICROBIOME LIKE SYNTHETIC ANTIBIOTICS DO:

(1) Our bodies and the bacteria they contain evolved with these natural substances. We evolved over millennia consuming and breathing in herbs, minerals, noble metals, oxygen, ozone, etc. We did NOT evolve with synthetic substances like synthetic antibiotics. They've only come about in the last couple hundred years, so they can easily wipe everything right out, like a nuclear bomb.

(2) Synthetic antibiotics are ONLY antibacterial. Natural antibiotics are ALSO antifungal. That's one reason why synthetic antibiotics wreak havoc on your microbiome so much. They kill the bacteria and allow the yeast and other fungi that are naturally part of your microbiome (at a healthy ratio of 1 fungal cell to 1 million bacterial cells) to grow, and then those fungi grow roots down into your tissues and are hard to get out. Natural antibiotics kill bacteria AND yeast and other fungi, so it's FAR easier to replant good bacteria with probiotics when yeast and other fungi aren't rooted in your tissues already.

It's always a good idea to do probiotic therapy after taking even natural antimicrobial substances. However, comparing natural antibiotics with synthetic antibiotics is like comparing a fire hose with a nuclear bomb.

One of the yummiest meals ever! ~
BUTTERNUT SQUASH, TOFU & PEAS WITH BROWN RICE, AVOCADO & SALSA
1/2 cup Lundberg Short-Grain Brown Rice
1 lb Wildwood Super-Firm Tofu, cubed
1/2 small Butternut Squash (2 cups cubed)
5 oz Peas
4 Tbsp Coconut Oil
1/4 cup Amy's Medium Salsa
1 Avocado, chopped

Cook brown rice.
Fry tofu in 1 Tbsp coconut oil until crispy - about 13 minutes on one side and 11 minutes on the other.
Peel and chop the butternut squash.
After cooking tofu, cook butternut squash on the side in 1 Tbsp coconut oil for about 15 - 20 minutes, stirring once or twice.
Add peas to tofu, and butternut squash & stir and cook until peas are done, about 5 minutes.
Heat salsa in a separate pot.
When rice is finished, add 2 Tbsp coconut oil and salt.
Serve tofu, squash & peas atop brown rice, and top with avocado. Serve salsa on the side.
Delicious!

Fighting inflammation? See video in the comments. Something that really bugs me that I see a lot in health groups is that people are often fighting inflammation, focusing on low-histamine foods, etc. RATHER than focusing on what's CAUSING the inflammation. If you are trying to suppress inflammation but not addressing its cause, you are suppressing your body's natural healing response. Inflammation happens when the body is trying to repair itself. Usually, people have dysbiosis and aren't doing anything about it, and instead just continually fight the symptoms. Conquer the underlying cause and all the symptoms go away and you don't have to fight anymore. In the video in the comments, Dr. Jyothi Rao discusses why inflammation is crucial for the body's healing.

A friend just wrote to me and asked me about natural cancer treatments, and it reminded me of two wonderful documentaries I really recommend everyone watch. I'm not going to say what therapy they are about, since natural medicine is often censored, but the videos are in the comments. They are both very intriguing!!! I haven't seen them in over a decade, so will have to watch, or at least listen, to them again. I rarely have time to watch things but like to listen while I work or prepare food, lol. I really recommend you at least do the same – very important knowledge to have for you and your loved ones.
