We specialize in salt therapy paired with mindful breathing techniques to help reduces symptoms of stress, anxiety, respiratory conditions, chronic pain, and more! Studies have shown that when viruses, pathogens, and bacteria are exposed to sodium chloride, that they die in under 60 seconds. Pharmaceutical grade sodium chloride is blown into the atmosphere of our Himalayan salt cave, making our salt cave one of the best places to simultaneously boost your immune system, strengthen your lung function, and curb symptoms of stress and anxiety stored in the body.

February feels different at the Pixie.

We’re all still looking for stillness. Winter can feel long, and it seems like so many of us are craving a place to slow down—even when we’re not quite sure how to do that on our own. Sometimes, that stillness is found in community.

This February, we’re holding space for exactly that through a month of magical gatherings, movement, ritual, and connection.

✨ Sunday, February 1st at 10:00 AM — Pixie Writing Club
A quiet, cozy space to write, journal, create, or simply sit with your thoughts in community. Bring whatever you’re working on.

✨ Sunday, February 1st — Imbolc: Kindling the Light
We’ll celebrate Imbolc by learning about this sacred turning point of the year and the energy that surrounds it. This experience includes a candle magic class, hands-on work with candles, and take-home supplies so you can continue the magic on your own.

✨ Tuesday, February 3rd at 6:30 PM — Calm & Clarity: Restorative Yoga with Reiki
Join Anita for a deeply soothing restorative yoga practice infused with Reiki.

✨ Wednesday, February 4th at 7:00 PM — Full Moon in Leo Ceremony
We gather in the salt cave to honor the Full Moon in Leo with ritual, reflection, and community.

✨ Thursday, February 6th at 6:00 PM — Scream Therapy with Tricia
A cathartic, supportive space to release stress, emotion, and stored tension through guided vocal expression and grounding practices.
(Please note this is not therapy or a replacement for therapy, but rather a peer-led container for support and community)

✨ Tuesday, February 10th at 6:30 PM — Heart Chakra Meditation
A gentle, heart-centered meditation led by Anita.

✨ Friday, February 13th at 6:00 PM — Galentine’s Slumber Party + Flash Tattoos

Picture this: you walk into the shop and a killer playlist is already playing—the kind that turns into spontaneous dance parties before you even realize you’re making a microphone with your fist and singing off-key with the person nearest to you. There’s pizza waiting. Mocktails ready. Maybe you BYOB’d something fun to sip. Snacks, games, and cozy chaos everywhere, inviting you to sink back into that carefree girl who lived for slumber parties at her best friend’s house.

Or maybe… you never got to have those nights, and you always wished you had.

Either way, this one’s for you.

The night is full of laughter, easy fun, and zero pressure. And yes—flash tattoos, because now we’re old enough to make those choices.

All that’s left is picking the perfect movie to set the scene—and that’s where you come in.

The body doesn’t move in straight lines.
It moves in cycles.

Modern life often asks for constant productivity — the same pace, all year long. But our nervous systems are seasonal. Energy naturally rises and falls with light, temperature, and rhythm.
:
When we honor the seasons, we give the nervous system permission to slow down, rest, and reorient instead of forcing momentum. This supports resilience, emotional balance, and long-term well-being.

Ritual helps the body mark transition. It creates a clear pause — a moment of meaning — so the nervous system knows something is changing. This sense of completion and beginning is deeply regulating.

This is why we gather for the holidays of the Wheel of the Year and work with the moon cycles. These ceremonies are about rhythm, reflection, and giving the body a chance to catch up to the moment.

For those who want to walk the year with intention:
We offer a Wheel of the Year membership, which includes access to all seasonal celebrations plus one salt therapy session each month — a way to ground the ritual in both reflection and rest. Membership closes today! 🧚✨

The cave is closed today, but the magic isn’t.

If you’re snowed in, here are a few simple winter magics you can practice right where you are:
❄️ Stillness as a spell
Let yourself rest without guilt. Winter magic thrives in pause.
❄️ Snow intention
If you can safely gather a little snow, whisper an intention into it and let it melt — releasing your wish gently into the water.
❄️ Quiet protection
Light a candle and imagine the storm wrapping your home in a cocoon of safety and calm.
❄️ Cold clarity
Open a window for a moment, take one deep breath of winter air, and release what feels heavy.
❄️ Cozy grounding
Warm tea, bare feet on the floor, soft music — presence is the magic today.

Stay safe, stay warm, and let winter do what it does best 🤍❄️

What Meditation Actually Does 🧠✨

Meditation isn’t about clearing your mind or stopping your thoughts.
It’s a practice — and like any practice, it takes time.

Meditation works by gently regulating the nervous system. Slowing the breath, softening the body, and returning to the present moment helps the brain shift out of fight-or-flight and into a state of rest and awareness.

The first time you meditate, your mind might be busy — replaying conversations, running through your grocery list, or wondering if you locked your keys in the car (that’s what I was doing). That doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It means you’re human.

Each time you notice your mind wander and gently come back, your body learns something important: it’s safe to slow down.

How we approach meditation at The Pixie:
Our meditation offerings are guided, supportive, and beginner-friendly. There’s no pressure to be still, silent, or “good” at it. You’re allowed to think, fidget, wander — and return, again and again.

That returning is the practice.
And it’s enough. 💛

We live in a culture that rewards exhaustion. Productivity is praised. Rest is delayed. Burnout becomes normal.

For many nervous systems, rest doesn’t feel relaxing — it feels unsafe. When the body has learned to survive through constant doing, slowing down can trigger anxiety, guilt, or restlessness.

This isn’t a failure.
It’s conditioning.

Why restorative spaces matter:
Salt therapy and restorative practices offer gentle, external signals of safety — quiet, low stimulation, steady breath, and support. Over time, these cues help the nervous system relearn that it’s okay to soften.

Rest isn’t something you force.
It’s something you practice — slowly, consistently, and with support.

You don’t need to earn rest here.
You’re allowed to receive it. 💛
