💭6. Why do you do what you do/why did you open the business?
Funeral service has always been a calling rooted in compassion and family values. The Louis J. Rapoch Funeral Home firstopened its doors on June 1, 1986, built on the belief that everyfamily deserves respect, care, and personalized support during their time of loss. In 2024, under the ownership of Christopher Souter, along with partners Louis and Karen Rapoch, we proudly transitioned to Rapoch Semian Funeral Home, continuing that same legacy of care while expanding our service and commitment to the community.

⏳ 7. How long have you been in business?
Our funeral home has been serving the community for over 38years. Since 1986, families have turned to us in their times of need, and we are honored to continue that trusted tradition under a new name and leadership.

✨8. What is your best memory/experience being in business so far?
One of our most meaningful experiences has been theopportunity to expand our mission of compassionate carethrough the creation of Rapoch Semian Funeral Home, building upon the trusted legacy of the Semian Funeral Home in Taylor, PA, which has served families with dignity and compassion since 1950. Just as importantly, the Louis J. Rapoch Funeral Home, which opened its doors in 1986, held those very same values-putting families first, offering personalized support, and approaching every service with empathy and respect. We recognized that shared foundation and used it as a source of strength and inspiration to continue the tradition. Expanding our reach to serve the Upper Valley of NEPA has been an honor, and it reaffirms our commitment to uphold the compassionate, family centered care that both of these longstanding funeral homes have always stood for.

🙏Thank you so much to Rapoch Semian Funeral Home for being such an anchor to our community and taking the time to answer our questions.
