Our standing garden is back at the Adult Day Center in Archbold and our clients are loving every minute of it.

Hospice isn’t just a job, it’s a calling. We are often the last to witness a final breath, listening for one more heartbeat even when there is none. When people hear, "hospice," their smile sometimes fades into sadness. But hospice can really be a gift to a patient or a family.

Because hospice isn’t about giving up, it’s about showing up.

While hospice is end-of-life care, it is so much more than that. It’s caring for patients and their families spiritually, emotionally, and physically. It’s bringing comfort in moments that feel overwhelming. It’s creating peace when life feels uncertain.

Being present, holding a hand, brushing someone’s hair, whispering words of reassurance, reminding them they are not alone; it matters more than words can express. Sometimes the hospice team becomes the only family a person has in those final moments.

Our Adult Day Center at CHP Home Care & Hospice was filled with holiday spirit as friends, families, and staff celebrated the season—Archbold style. From Santa hats to bingo wins to shared stories, it was a reminder that community matters at every age.
