Derby Day Fun!🐎
We brought the excitement of the track indoors with racing, friendly bets, and lots of laughs! 🎲

Residents enjoyed lemonade, sweet treats, and savory bites while cheering on their horses—every roll had the room buzzing!

Winning tickets turned into scratch-offs, and a few lucky winners made it into the grand prize drawing. 🏆🍬

Smiles, snacks, and just the right amount of luck—now that’s Derby Day! 💙

A Day at the Races—Kentucky Derby Style! 🌹

And They’re Off! 🐎The bets were placed, the odds were studied, and the cheers were LOUD! Residents came ready with their $100 in Monopoly money and a competitive spirit for all 5 races.

From the Wager Window to the finish line, it was full of laughs, friendly wagers, and a few surprise winners! 🏆💰

Safe to say… we’ve got some serious racing pros in the house 👀🐎

It’s a special day at Fairlawn… Happy Birthday, Pastor Kern! 🎂🎉
We celebrated with warm coffee ☕, lots of laughter 😊, and the most delicious homemade coffee cake 🍰—lovingly made by Lisa Vollmer, our Assisted Living & Wellness Director (and clearly an amazing baker too! 👏💙).

Our Assisted Living residents gathered to share sweet treats, great conversation, and even sweeter moments—because celebrating the people who pour so much into our community is what we love to do.

A Beautiful Finish to a Meaningful Year 🪁🪁

April marked our final AHS Impact visit of the school year, and what a special one it was!✨

Students and residents created watercolor newspaper print kites, each uniquely designed and framed in cardstock—a perfect mix of creativity, connection, and conversation. 🎨

To each of the Archbold Area Schools AHS Impact students —thank you for showing up month after month with kindness, energy, and heart. You’ve made a lasting impact on our residents in ways that truly matter.🙏💙

We are so grateful for this partnership and already look forward to next year! 😊

A Little Love for Our Feathered Friends 🌎🐦
Our assisted living crew rolled up their sleeves (and maybe got a little peanut butter on them 😄) to create homemade bird feeders—then headed outside to hang them up for the neighborhood birds! 🥜🌿

A simple, meaningful way to celebrate Earth Day—caring for nature, supporting local wildlife, and enjoying beauty right outside our doors. 🌎

Who knew Earth Day could be this fun? 💫

🐾 Wild About This Day Trip!
Our Independent Living residents had a wildly fun time exploring the Clymer Wildlife Museum—learning about animals from all over the world & sharing lots of laughs along the way! 🦌🐻🦅

And somewhere along the adventure, they made a delicious stop at the Red Pig Inn 🍽️😋

A special thank you to Larry & Gary Clymer for the wonderful tour—we truly appreciate you sharing your time and knowledge with us! 🙏

We loved having the Central Mennonite Church High School Youth Group with us at Fairlawn! 💙

They started their time with prayer and devotion, setting the tone for a meaningful visit, and then jumped right into Bingo with our residents. 🙏

It’s moments like these—connection across generations, laughter around the table, and shared faith—that make our community so special.
