A continuing care community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Rehab, Memory & Special Care, and Long-Term Care — all with compassionate, personalized support for your health and well-being. Established by the Mennonite Churches in Northwest Ohio, Fairlawn is a Christian based non-profit organization providing high quality services to residents of all denominations. Our belief is that every resident deserves respect, dignity and quality care.

-Independent Living Condominiums and Rental Apartments provide the safety and convenience of your own home, without the maintenance responsibilities.
-Assisted Living is available for those who need a little more help. Meals and laundry service are provided and staff is on hand to assist you.
-Memory Care is a growing need and our beautiful and caring Memory Neighborhood provides the comfort, care and therapy services residents need.
-Short Term Rehab can help you get back to your own home after a illness or surgery. Both inpatient and outpatient services are available.
-Long Term skilled care is provided with the care and concern you or your loved one deserves.

We might be a little late to the party, but this was too fun not to share! 🐙
Our Assisted Living residents had a splash celebrating National Octopus Day! They colored and crafted their very own octopuses — now proudly displayed on our wall for everyone to enjoy. 🎨✨

To top it off, we served a themed drink — our “Ocean Punch” — a bright blue refreshment with a friendly octopus swimming on top! 🌊🧃

There’s no ghosting around when it comes to fun at Fairlawn! Our therapy team brought big smiles (and maybe a few friendly frights 👻) as they dressed up to celebrate the season.

Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Beth Grice! 🌟
Beth has been part of the Fairlawn team for 8 years and currently serves as an Environmental Aide. Her favorite part of her job is simple but meaningful — talking with the residents! 💬 Her warmth and genuine care reflect the heart of who we are at Fairlawn. 💙

Beth brings kindness and consistency to her work every day, living out our core values through her actions:
💛 Compassion in the way she cares for residents.
💙 Connection in the conversations that brighten their days.
🤝 Unity as a dependable and supportive teammate.
🌿 Purpose in her commitment to creating a clean, comfortable home for all.

Outside of Fairlawn, Beth enjoys walking, cross-stitching, baking, cooking, gardening, and cheering for her favorite teams — the Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, Detroit Tigers, and Purdue Boilermakers. 🏈⚾🐻

She also shares her home with quite the crew — six cats, one dog, and several fish! 🐾🐟

🎃🚗 Golf Cart Halloween Parade Fun! 👻🍂
What a treat! Our Independent Living residents and staff brought plenty of smiles and fall spirit to this year’s Golf Cart Halloween Parade. The carts were decked out in festive décor and filled the air with cheerful music as they cruised through campus, spreading joy along the way! 💛

Residents watching from their porches and windows loved every minute. 💙

Acrylic Pumpkin Pour with AHS Impact! 🎨🎃
Students from Archbold High School’s AHS Impact group joined our residents for a fun and colorful fall project — decorating 50+ pumpkins with an acrylic paint pour!

A special thank-you to Rupp Seeds Inc for generously donating the pumpkins that made this creative day possible.💙

Each pumpkin stem was hand-painted, and the finished pumpkins will soon brighten the rooms of participating residents and be displayed throughout Fairlawn.

We’re so grateful for the Archbold Area Schools AHS Impact students and their volunteer spirit — their time, energy, and laughter brought so much joy to our residents. These moments of connection remind us how powerful it is when generations learn from and inspire one another. 🍂

What do you get when you mix creativity, laughter, and a splash of Hawaiian Punch? A masterpiece in the making!

Our residents enjoyed a festive Sip & Paint afternoon, complete with sparkling cider “mocktails” and plenty of fall flair. 🍁 Each canvas came to life with friendly ghosts, bright pumpkins, and the personal touch of every artist’s imagination.

More than just painting — it was a chance to unwind and celebrate the joy of trying something new together. 💙

Crafts with Callie were extra magical! Residents tapped into their creativity with Mason jar aquariums, colorful paper fish bowls, and playful firefly crafts. 🎨🌟
🐠 The aquariums shimmered with splashes of underwater life.
🎨 The paper fish bowls burst with bright colors and imagination.
🪰 The fireflies added a whimsical touch of summertime charm.

💙 What began as jars, paper, and supplies became something so much greater — shared laughter, heartfelt stories, and memories that will last a lifetime.
