6/12/2025 UPDATE: Due to the rain yesterday the YELLOW phase is has been rescheduled to Friday, June 27th (weather permitting). Thank you for your continued patience and we apologize for the inconvenience.

6/3/2025 UPDATE: Due to the rain the YELLOW phase has been postponed. The parking lot and entrances are open today. Next scheduled date is the BLUE phase to be completed on Friday, June 6th (weather permitting). Thank you for your patience.

Parking Lot Project UPDATE: The YELLOW Phase will begin on Monday, June 2nd. The Lake Johanna BLVD entrance will be open to the red colored areas and the County Rd D entrance will be open to the blue colored areas. The path to the lower entrance 3220 is a one-way so please be careful when accessing that lot. If you have any questions please call 651-631-6000. We appreciate your patience when visiting while we complete this complex project.

Summer projects are in full swing at Johanna Shores. We are completing a multi-phase parking lot sealcoating/striping project. Currently we are working on the RED phase and the MAIN entrance is CLOSED. You can access our community off of County Rd D (indicated by the star⭐️on the map below). We will try to keep you updated as we complete phases.

Johanna Shores - a Senior Living Community celebrates another Liberty Dream come true!! Meaningful moments, connections and dreams re-lived is what it's all about. Nancy has been a member at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis, for over 60 years. Recently, she expressed it was her wish to attend a Service. The Johanna Shores "Dream Team" plotted and planned so she was able to return to what felt like home to her: Westminster. She soaked it all up and reminsced about sitting with her friends in the Sanctuary at 10:30am every Sunday. She said there was "Nancy row". A group of church members all named Nancy, sitting together. Nancy participated in Communion during the Sunday Service on her recent visit. Following the service, she stayed for the member social with several attendees greeted Nancy and were so thankful she could join them. Nancy expressed her joy and how meaningful the day was to her. Thank you Nancy for letting Johanna Shores help your wish come true!

The Johanna Shores "Dream Team" is at it again. Jack Whereatt lives at Johanna Shores and is a pilot for life. We can only imagine his time in the sky, all he has seen and miles traveled. When asked if he was ready for a Dream Flight experience in an open cock-pit plane from World War II. Jack said "Does a bear live in the woods"? YES! His family came to the airport to cheer him on for this dream come true. Check out his smile as he took to their air for his personalized flight. After landing Jack spent time with the volunteer pilot, Molly and her husband. Both are retired pilots and making dreams come true for Veterans through Dream Flights a non-profit organization. Thank you to Jacks wife Gail, his family, the JS rehab/nursing team members and Thunderbird Aviation at Flying Cloud Airport.

The big thank you to the American Horse Rescue Network for bringing us two regal horses, one sweet Golden Retriever daddy, a cute and rambunctious Golden Retriever puppy, and an adorable Muskovy duck who loved being pet. Our residents were delighted to pet all these glorious creatures. So many beautiful horse stories and memories were told. A heartwarming afternoon to be sure. love .
