This afternoon as we come together not just as coworkers, but as a family. Our Elk River team pours their hearts into what they do every single day, and it was truly special to pause, celebrate, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company this Christmas season.

A very special thank-you to our Administrator, Kurt Holm, for making this afternoon possible. His generosity, leadership, and the way he always puts our staff first never go unnoticed. From supporting us throughout the year to providing each employee and their family with a Christmas ham dinner, Kurt continues to remind us how fortunate we are to have him guiding our team.

We also want to give a heartfelt thank-you to Tammy, our HR Director, for all of her hard work behind the scenes. Tammy keeps everything running smoothly, supports our staff daily, and puts in countless hours to make sure events like this come together beautifully. Your dedication and commitment mean so much to all of us.

Here’s to a wonderful Christmas, a strong finish to this year, and an even brighter year ahead together.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! Today, we are excited to announce a live Facebook drawing for a turkey and dressing giveaway. The prize includes:

- 1 whole turkey
- 1 pan of dressing
- 1 bottle of Tony Injectable Seasoning

Here are the details:

1. All staff members will be entered into the drawing.
2. The live drawing will take place today at 1 PM on the Elk River page.
3. Turkeys can be picked up in the kitchen starting today.
4. Winners will have until Monday at 3 PM to pick up their box. If not collected by then, the prize will be given to another staff member.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our annual Trunk or Treat! We had such a wonderful time celebrating with our residents, families, and neighbors. A special thanks to our amazing home health and hospice companies, and our local food and coffee vendors for being a part of our community event and helping make it a success! 🎃🧡

🌞 This morning during our 10:00 AM activity, we had some special visitors! 🐾

The wonderful members of The Church of the Living God brought a few farm animals to spend time with our residents. While enjoying the beautiful sunshine, our residents got to meet and love on dogs, ducks, a goat, chickens, a rabbit, and even a ferret! 🐐🐰🐥

This has truly been one of my favorite activities to date — our residents were all smiles as they held, petted, and fed the animals. 💕

A huge thank you to The Church of the Living God for sharing your sweet fur babies with us. Seeing the joy on our residents’ faces makes every moment worth it!
