Another one bites the dust! Today was Tammy Griffin Forshey’s last day as my registered dental assistant.
I knew Tammy long before I began practicing in Ardmore. She has been in the dental field almost as long as I have been alive. In fact, many may not know it, but her very first patient was Moses.😂
Tammy is one big dysfunctional ball of energy.😉 Her smile and laughter are contagious, and if our office is ever quiet? You automatically know it’s bc Tammy isn’t there that day. 😃
She also never thinks twice about putting me in my place. I can’t tell you how many patients (while In the chair) have said “ You two argue like an old married couple.” And they are correct, except my wife will eventually just stop talking, go into another room and leave me alone…..while Tammy just follows me right into my office…. yap yap yapping in my ear the entire time.😂😂😂
She rarely follows my directions……her room is never organized (the way I want it)….she hoards all of our supplies…….and she can be the biggest pain in my butt….BUT……..
for those of you that have been fortunate enough to have her work on you? I can PROMISE you this….no one cares more about you than Tammy. She is dedicated to doing things (as I call it) ‘the right way’. She truly wants to do the best job possible while also giving you the best experience (considering where you are lol) But she also cares deeply about you outside of our office. She cheers your successes….and she cries over your heartaches. She loves BIG…..while wearing her heart on her sleeve.
She is a phenomenal dental assistant, but she is an even better human, and I am a better person for having known her. Tammy, it has been both a privilege and an honor for you to let me work for you for the past 15 years.😉😉😂😂😜😜
We all love you and will miss you dearly. But we also hope that you can take a well deserved break, enjoy those grandbabies, and spend some quality time with Mike. You deserve nothing less than the best…..bc you are one of the best...❤️❤️❤️❤️
