Ardmore Family Medical CL Urgent and chronic medical care for the whole family. The clinic has grown since 1998 and moved into the new facility in 2010. EKG is available.

Started March 1, 1998 by Deborah Ver Beek MSN, CFNP who has 44 years of experience as a RN, Army Nurse, Emergency-Trauma, and Family Medicine. We pride ourselves on really caring and listening to our patients to give them the best care possible. We treat treat urgent conditions like allergy problems, sinus infections, UTIs, lacerations, strains, sprains, abrasions, and other illnesses. We treat chronic problems like high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, heart problems, weight problems, arthritis, degenerative spine problems and many chronic medical problems. We do blood work when needed to monitor your cholesterol, kidneys, liver, and blood count. We have a wide range of Specialists that we refer patients to, as needed, in Alabama and Tennessee. We accept most insurance and also have a cash pay price. We are open late for people who are working and are here M, Tu, Th, and Fr.

The Epic water filter takes out fluoride and all the toxins, I highly recommend. They also recycle them-send 3 back and get 1 free.

The viruses are all around. We take extra care to not expose anyone to contagious conditions. I do recommend preventative medicine if you find you have been exposed, but timing is critical. Let us know if we can help and practice good hand washing or alcohol wipes. Keeping your immune system healthy is essential with nutrition and vitamin D supplements. It sounds like the first day of spring is going to be quite chilly this week, hope the spring flowers don’t take a hit 🍀

I recommend that you Never buy Allianz Global Insurance for any event or tickets! They are the pits! We never received our tickets for my husband’s Christmas present to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Birmingham on December 11 and bought the insurance through Allianz, just in case. He saw this through PBS. Well they do not hold up their end of the contract. We did not get our tickets or our money back, huge disappointment. The only recourse appears to be a legal
suit and a lot of aggravation!
I just want everyone to be aware to stay away from Alliance Partners. Please share with everyone. Thanks

The Water Board meets at their new building on main street according to a council person, at 0830. Anyone with concerns should be at the meeting.

It should be interesting to see what the Water Board uses for excusing thousands of people having no water for 6 to 9 days. Their failure to alert elderly, disabled, non internet citizens about contaminated, potentially deadly water is inexcusable. Meeting tomorrow Jan. 30th at 0830, hope to see an unprecedented turnout.
