A H-U-G-E thank you to the Carter County Home & Community Education’s Healthy Living Committee for sponsoring snacks for our Honor Guard room!

The young men and women on the Honor Guard teams travel multiple hours to provide military honors as our veterans are laid to rest. They are always so appreciative of the creature comforts offered to them at our location.

Being part of a funeral detail isn’t an easy job but it’s an honorable one. Letting them know that members of the community are thinking of them helps to lift their spirits and focus on the task at hand.
