🛡️ Safe Storage Starts at Home
Prescription safety begins where we live.
Parents — take time to talk with your kids about medication safety.

1️⃣ Inventory what’s in your medicine cabinet.
2️⃣ Assess what’s still needed — and what’s expired or unused.
3️⃣ Dispose of medications safely when they’re no longer needed.
4️⃣ Store all medications securely — out of sight and out of reach.

Safe storage prevents misuse and keeps your family protected.
Let’s work together to keep our homes and communities safe. 💊🏠

“My journey with Lighthouse has been more than just a job; it has been a deeply personal and transformative journey. Having experienced trauma and hardship in my own life, I was drawn to this line of work because I understand what it feels like to be overwhelmed, unheard, and in need of someone to truly care. I began my work with Lighthouse in the Durant Adult Urgent Recovery Center, where I learned the foundations of crisis care and witnessed the resilience of individuals facing some of life’s hardest battles. Transitioning into the Children’s Urgent Recovery Center has been especially meaningful, allowing me to support youth at such a critical point in their lives and reminding me how powerful early intervention can be.”
- Misty Bigham, Lighthouse Care Coordinator
