Wednesdays at Teresa’s House in Argyle are all about time in the kitchen! From brand-new recipes to classic favorites, we enjoy experimenting with a little bit of everything. 😊

This past week, we dusted off a recipe we were reminded of—and it just might be our new favorite snack: spinach dip with sourdough bread!

With so many requests for a repeat, the ingredients have already been purchased and we can’t wait to make it again.

We celebrated the new year in the raddest way possible - with a Back to the 80s Party! 🥳🎉🥳

We broke out the leg warmers, dusted off our neon and teased our hair to ring in the new year in a totally tubular way!
Side ponytails, boomboxes and “state-of-the-art” mobile phone technology 😉all made appearances at our event….and for refreshments: no 80s party would be caught without pizza rolls, cheese puffs, Doritos and cheese whiz!

If the year ahead is anything like our New Year’s Eve party at Teresa’s House in Argyle - it’s gonna be off the charts! 🍾🙌🎆

We fired up the glue guns, grabbed some tinsel and tacky flair, and got to work creating another round of Ugly Christmas Sweaters at our 3rd Annual Ugly Sweater Workshop!

We even had a little elf on loan from Santa’s workshop helping out with the designs this year. What a fun-filled afternoon!

We are beyond grateful for our Angels at North Star Academy for making our Christmas extra sweet this year with their wonderful Angel Tree gifts!

Two of their “elves” stopped by to deliver the presents, and while they were here, a couple of our residents had the special opportunity to meet their Christmas Angels and share in the joy of their gifts together.

Even though North Texas may be enjoying unseasonably warm temperatures this Christmas, we still love a good “Blizzard” at Teresa’s House of Argyle — Blizzard, our beloved therapy dog, that is!

Every time he “blows through” our community, he leaves smiles in his wake. We are so thankful for Blizzard and for all the incredible pups who visit us from Canines for Christ in Argyle. Their love and companionship mean the world to us! 🐾💙

At Teresa’s House in Argyle, there’s something truly special about the way we care for one another—the way we show up each day, support one another, and define what it means to be a team.

This past week, we came together to celebrate the spirit of teamwork that makes our Teresa’s House family so unique. It was a time to recognize achievements, share laughter, enjoy games, and connect in the joy of the holiday season.

We are deeply grateful for every member of our team at Teresa’s House in Argyle. Each person brings unique talents and gifts that make what we do not only meaningful, but truly exceptional.
