Congratulations to Cooper Kent, Anna Scott Kent and Bailey Logan on your performance at the Denton County Youth Fair this week. I am extremely impressed with the dedication, long hours of conditioning and training and your presence in the show ring. This was Coopers second year to exhibit and the first for the two young ladies. Anna Scott had the Reserve Champion Native Bred ewe and won Novice Breeding Showmanhip. Congrats to Cooper for his Reserve Champion Market wether! (He won this last year also!)

All three of you made me proud to be ringside for the show. Your hard work certain showed! Although I won’t have sheep for you this year, I will still be one of your biggest supporters! And thank you to your parents. You quickly learned this is a family affair. And your support of the kiddos was very obvious! They could not do this without your constant support!

Congratulations to Dayzee Tovar and “Fergie” for having a winning day at the Denton County Youth Fair! (her county show). This team won Champion Hampshire, Champion Native Bred Breeding Ewe and was the overall Grand Champion Breeding Ewe! These two were a fine tuned duo! Fergie has matured beautifully and Dayzee exhibited her perfectly. Thank you to judge Denton Lowe for appreciated this ewe lambs quality. (Dayzee also went on to win Grand Champion with her market wether!). I am excited to see this team continue on in the show ring!!!

Well this team is on a roll! Congratulations to Brayden Parks and “Miss Loretta!” She won Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb at the Metch Memorial Livestock Show this past weekend! Brayden also won his first Senior Showmanship!! I’m so happy this team is paired up and I am wishing them continued success.

Congratulations to Izzie George! She won Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb with her Esmond Club Lamb ewe lamb today at the Tioga FFA Fall Classic! She was also reserve in senior showmanship! I’m looking forward to watching this team progress through the show season. Also thank you John North for placing her with Izzie!

As I sat by the pool yesterday, I received a great surprise! Congratulations to Oaklee Robinson on her Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb win at the Wylie Spooktacular yesterday! This was Oaklee’s first ever banner win! (But I see more in this teams future!) She and this Nunya Business wether have a bright show season ahead of them! Congratulations Oaklee!

Esmond Club Lambs had a great day today at the North Texas Fair & Rodeo. Oakley Goodner and Zinyeta won Supreme Champion Breeding Ewe! This ewe has matured so nicely and I’m excited to see this team show at upcoming majors! This yearling ewe was our pick show ewe from the 2022 crop. (This pair also won Grand Champion Market and Breeding ewe at my 3rd Annual Esmond Club Lamb show.).

Thank you to Oakley and the entire Goodner team for keeping this ewe at her peak and for always presenting her so beautifully! This is our third year in a row to win this show!!

Good luck Oakley in the remainder of this show season. You ALWAYS make me proud!!

Congratulations also to Presley Goodner with her 4th place ewe lamb and Dayzee Tovar’s 5th place in a large ewe lamb class!

Congratulations to Kayden Ferguson on his placements recently with this Say No More x Legit ewe lamb. He placed 8th in a huge (58)hamp ewe lamb class at San Antonio and was 5th in the ewe lamb class at San Angelo. It was amazing to see this ewe lamb place in such tough competition at these Texas major breeding shows. Good luck to you both at upcoming shows and your county show!

Today brings up many fond memories of my breeding ewes being exhibited at the San Antonio Livestock Show. Nine years ago, Taylor Swinson showed “Dyna” and was the Reserve Supreme Breeding Ewe (and Reserve champion Hampshire). Today brings new memories. Two of her granddaughters showed and placed well today. Congratulations to Oakley Goodner with her 3rd place class 4 commercial ewe and to Presley Goodner with her 4th place class 5 commercial ewe lamb. It is great to continue to see how Dyna has influenced my entire breeding program. I have retained several daughters and granddaughters in my flock and I am looking forward to this years lamb crop! Strong genetics run deep through these ewe lambs! Congratulation Goodner Girls!!

Congratulations to the Goodner girls for their placements at the San Antonio Livestock Show today! Oakley was 3rd in class 4 and Presley was 4th in class 5 commercial ewe lamb classes. These two Say No More ewe lambs are awesome and both have great futures in the show season. To say I am proud of these two girls and their ewe lambs is an understatement. Thank you to their parents Nathan and Misty for your constant support of these girls and my breeding program!
