Strong relationships aren’t built on perfection—they’re built on effort, understanding, and growth.

If you and your partner feel stuck in the same arguments, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, couples counseling isn’t a sign of failure. It’s a powerful step toward healing and deeper connection.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. With the right support, you can learn to communicate more effectively, rebuild trust, and rediscover what brought you together in the first place.

Chris is sharing a resource she loves to use! It is a book called “The Wall” that discusses how sometimes we can build rigid boundaries to protect us. But we need to ask, are they boundaries? Or are they walls?

The story illustrates how emotional walls can keep others out, but can increase isolation and loneliness.

Healthy boundaries are flexible and protective. Walls are rigid, protective, and limiting.

The goal shouldn’t be to tear everything down, it should be to build doors. Creating safe and supportive ways to let others in, while still feeling secure.
