🎓 High school students have an opportunity to participate in the Honor Cord Enrollment Program! Donate 6 times by May 1 of your graduating year to receive a certificate & an honor cord for graduation. Students must be enrolled by April 30 of their graduating year. Enroll on the OBI website.

It's a Lab Week Blood Drive! Please join us for our upcoming Blood Drive on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 10 am to 2 pm in the Downstairs Lobby.

Remember (if you are an employee): by donating blood, you can now earn 100 Mobile Health points. As an added incentive, we'll also be holding a drawing for $25, $50, and $100 gift cards for successful donors. Also, swing by the laboratory for an added treat for successful donors since it's Lab Week!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! Amber Jones (APRN at Baptist Health Family Clinic-Caddo Valley) educated an interactive group of 18 ladies regarding Breast Cancer Awareness at a monthly luncheon in Arkadelphia on Oct 2. Reminder to keep up to date on your regular health screenings such as mammograms and wellness exams!

Thank you to Trisha Bethell (BHFC-Caddo Valley nurse) and Catherine Plyler (pharmacist) for assisting with this initiative.

Baptist Health Arkadelphia employees Jim McClanahan (RN), Catherine Plyler (pharmacist) and Tori Gillard (RN) assisted with the Arkadelphia Peake school flu vaccine clinic with the local health department on Wed, Oct 2 where 172 flu vaccines were administered to students and staff. Thank you for helping keep our community safe!

The CDC recommends that ideally everyone 6 months and older gets their flu vaccine by the end of October. Make plans to receive your flu vaccine soon!
