Due to some recent snags with insurance credentialing and billing, the process of accepting insurances that our local community members need has been delayed longer than anticipated. As such, I am accepting new clients that are SELF-PAY only for the time being.

Benefits to self-pay sessions:
1. It’s your treatment! Insurance companies may have restrictions like: requiring a referral from your P*P; restrictions on length of sessions, diagnoses we are eligible to provide services for, and number of sessions covered.

2. Choice of therapist: You can see me without worrying about out-of-network or lack of coverage of my licensure type.

3. Not billing insurance allows me to spend more time in sessions helping people, and less time doing administrative work. Want to see me weekly? Ok! Want to do an intensive two-hour session? Ok! Want to join a therapy group I offer? Ok!

My self pay session rate ranges in cost and is available on a sliding scale basis. Most will fall in the range of $65-85 after the first session. I am able to accept all major credit/debit cards including FSA/HSA accounts.

I’ve had a few inquiries about insurance and wanted to provide clarification. At this time I am only able to accept self-pay clients. However, I do this on a sliding scale basis.

I am in the process of being credentialed with the listed insurance companies for billing. The timeline for this to be completed is expected to be early May. I will continue to provide updates here on the insurances I am able to accept.

*UnitedHealth care and its affiliates may take longer for credentialing due to the recent outage*
