A new report from the Center for Disease Control now reports an increase in the number of children diagnosed with autism. It is estimated that 1 in 50 children are diagnosed with autism. The previous estimate was 1 in 88. The previous estimate in 2011 was 1:100, 2010 was 1:110, 2009 was 1:150.

What do you believe is the cause of this increase? Increased awareness? Or an actual increase in prevalence?
