Muchos padres me han preguntado y recomiendo mucho que vacunen a los hijos de 12 años o mayor contra covid. La vacuna es efectiva contra el variante Delta que esta causando enfermedad severa en los no vacunados. Vacunarlos puede salvar la vida de sus hijos.
Many parents have asked if they should vaccinate their children against covid and I very much recommend that all children aged 12 years or older be vaccinated. The vaccine is effective against the Delta variant which is causing severe infection in the non vaccinated. Vaccinating your children could save their lives.

Many parents have asked me if they should send their children back to school. There is no correct answer. Both options are bad. Learning via video just does not work well. There is no substitute for being at school with a good teacher, but ..... it is dangerous to send your children to school at this time. Each family must make a difficult choice that best works for them. My bottom line advise: Keep your children home. It's not time to send them out yet, there is still danger.

Muchos padres me han preguntado si deben mandar sus hijos a la escuela. No hay una respuesta correcta. Las dos opciones son malas. Aprender por video no funcina bien. No hay sustituto para estar en la escuela con una buena profesora, pero, ...aun es peligroso mandar los niños a la escuela. Cada familia debe hacer una decision dificil que mejor funcione para ellos. Mi consejo: No los manden a la escuela, aun no es tiempo, aun hay peligro.

I want to inform my you that I will remain open as long as I can. I've taken some important steps to safeguard my patients. I'm scheduling well patients in the mornings and sick patients in the afternoon so as not to have both in the clinic at the same time. I'm also asking patients to wait in their cars and we will call you on your cell phone when we are ready to see you, as an added safety measure. We will get through this difficult and dangerous time together.

Quiero informarlos que voy a seguir abierto lo mas que pueda. Hemos tomado algunas medidas para proteger nuestros pacientes. Estamos programando los pacientes sanos por las mañanas y los infermos por las tardes para que no esten en la consulta al mismo tiempo. Ademas les estamos pidiendo que esperen en sus carros y los llamamos por el cellular cuando estamos listos para verlos. Es otra medida se seguridad. Juntos vamos a sobrepasar este tiempo dificil y peligroso.

Teenagers have started to come to clinic with va**ng related illness (chronic cough, respiratory difficulty). Parents please talk to your teens and watch them closely. This is a very dangerous illness.

Han comenzado a llegar a la consulta adolescents con enfermedad relacionada al va**ng (tos cronica y dificultad respiratoria). Padres por favor hablen con sus adolescentes y vigilenlos atentamente. Esta enfermedad es muy peligrosa.

En este dia mundial del Autismo, y todos los dias, tengamos en cuenta a todos los individuos que tienen esta condicion. Recuerden que solo es que piensan en una forma diferente pero tienen el corazon bello y el espiritu brillante. Mi hijo tiene Asperger's y es un orgullo ver el hombre que es. Honra a los autistas y las dificultades que conquistan todos los dias.

Today is Autism awareness day. When you see a person with autism remember they are just like you and me, they just think a bit differently. They are beautiful in every way inside and out. I look at my son who has Asperger's and I am proud to see the man he has become. Honor those with autism and the challeges they overcome every day.

Hay muchos casos de sarampion en Washington state. Si los hijos presentan fiebre alta, tos, congestion, ojos rojos, puntos dentro de la boca y un rash severo llamen. El sarampion tiene complicaciones severas como sordera, neumonia e inflamacion en el cerebro. 1-2 de cada 1000 pacientes que les da sarampion pueden morir. Vacunen a los hijos!
