Kind words from our clients always mean so much. This family is a true testament to the fact that c-sections can be healing and beautiful when you have the right support and feel heard and present during the process. We support families through all the twists and turns of labor and birth. No matter how you greet your baby at the finish line, we want you to feel empowered and supported through the whole journey. This day reminded me how beautiful the journey can be, even when the outcome was not the one that was planned for.

We talk about this so much as doulas who are certified in VBAC support. It can be REALLY hard to spot an unsupportive provider who is being misleading until the red flags start waving in the very last weeks (or sometimes days) of pregnancy. This is why we work to help each client find their perfect VBAC provider.

We have moved! As much as we loved our time at 657 E Golf Rd, we have found a new home at 505 E Golf Rd, Suite H in Arlington Hights. Let's play hospital scavenger hunt! All four of my hospital based doula client's had babies at the same hospital this past month. Each time I snapped a Pic of where I was. Can you guess the hospital?? Bet my fellow doulas will know 😊😊😊

Saying goodbye to dear clients at the end of their postpartum contracts are never easy. Each family is special to us and leave a lasting impression. But watching them learn, grow, and thrive as a new family will forever be rewarding. ❤️❤️

Clients who want a low intervention birth often ask me if there really is a difference between OBs and the midwifery model of care. The answer is, emphatically yes! I love this podcast and think this episode sheds a great light on the challenges modern moms face within the obstetrical system and how midwives may be the answer.
