A person called our office to inquire about a strange phone call she received last night. The caller said they were from Arlington Heights Animal Hospital and have their pet that has been missing for some time. They then said the pet needed emergency surgery and asked her to send them money.

We would never call with this kind of strange request. Please be aware of any odd phone calls asking for money. We would suggest you report any calls to your local police department.
