When I tell you it’s been a journey… whew.
As I’ve shared before, I gained 38 lbs and had no clue what was going on—until I found out I was perimenopausal. That diagnosis brought some clarity, but even with hormone cream, thyroid meds, eating clean, and exercising the weight just kept creeping up.
Everything changed when I joined a targeted nutrition program focused on balancing hormones. By the end of it, I had lost 17 lbs and more importantly, I gained back hope.
One of the biggest breakthroughs? Learning how food affects my body. I now understand what fuels me vs. what causes inflammation, bloating, or weight gain. That awareness has been a game changer.
Is it still challenging sometimes? Absolutely. Trying new foods can still throw things off. But now I know what to do. I know how to reset, listen to my body, and move forward with confidence.
