AFSA is proud to join with Global Community Liaison Office, AAFSW, and many volunteers to offer our support to those evacuating from posts in the Middle East.

"I want to thank everyone who has come together to support the hundreds of members of our community making their way to safe haven locations across the United States.

Over the past 24 hours, I have been grateful to stand alongside our partners at Dulles Airport with a sign, welcoming Foreign Service members and offering a hug as they pass through the crowds and cameras and finally exhale.

TOMORROW: We will be at the Protect America’s Workforce Act Rally

More than ten membership-based worker organizations, including AFSA, are gathering on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 12:00 at Upper Senate Park in support of the Protect America’s Workforce Act (PAWA) which would reestablish labor rights for federal workers.

We hope you will join us!

AFSA members and community to meet at 11:30am at Columbus circle and will walk over together. Look for our signs.
