EASNA Welcome to the Employee Assistance Society of of North America (EASNA).

As the trade association for the employee assistance field, we promote knowledge, research, and best practices toward achieving healthy and productive workplaces. EASNA's original charter was to develop standards of excellence for providers of employee assistance programs (EAPs). Our current charter has a broader focus: encompassing the diverse community of professionals who help create healthy and productive workplaces.

EASNA members are both individuals and organizations: 1) EAP providers 2) employee assistance and work/life professionals 3) behavioral health and addiction treatment practitioners 4) human resource and benefits professionals Members come from Canada, Mexico, and the United States, working in both the private and public sectors.

EASNA hosts an annual three-day conference, the Institute, which is held alternately in Canada and the United States. It includes plenary and breakout sessions, preceded by a full-day professional development workshop.

EASNA members can choose from 200 online classes through the Online Training Institute. The courses allow member to earn Continuing Education Units and Professional Development hours online.
