The snow may be fun for the kids — but not so fun for your back! If you’re shoveling snow (or sleet or ice, whatever we have coming this weekend) remember these tips to prevent a back injury:

✔ Keep your feet shoulder-width apart
✔ Bend at the knees, not the waist
✔ DON'T twist while lifting!

💰 Health insurance is expensive, so don’t let your annual deductible go to waste this year. We always advise our patients to check their deductible and out-of-pocket status in December before it starts over on January 1. If you have a nagging injury, have your insurance company take care of it before the end of the year!
