Second Chance Ranch Counseling Individual, family, and group therapy opportunities are provided by licensed professional counselors. Sessions are scheduled by appointment only.

We treat a wide range of presenting personal and mental health concerns. Services provided include EMDR and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Second Chance Ranch Counseling and Equine Therapy is a mental health service providing individual, family, and group therapy to children and adults in the Memphis area. We also offer EAGALA certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) to individuals and groups aged 7 and older. EAGALA is a ground based (no riding) model of equine therapy using co-facilitators (a mental health specialist and an equine specialist working together). Our team of 4 licensed therapists and equine specialist, Jenny Lawrence, offers a wide range of therapeutic interventions with a holistic and experiential focus, including EMDR, sand tray, play, art, mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and animal interactions. We also offer both telehealth and in-person sessions when possible. Second Chance Ranch is a mental health facility in the East Bartlett/ Lakeland, TN, area. We accept most commercial insurance, Bluecare, and UHCCP, as well as offer a sliding fee scale for self pay clients. See website or email for more information.
