March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and we're back with Tip #3 of our Colon Health Tips series. This week we're talking risk factors.

The truth is, colorectal cancer doesn't always come out of nowhere. Some of us carry a higher risk because of family history, an existing condition like Crohn's or ulcerative colitis, lifestyle habits, or simply getting older. And most people have no idea.

This isn't meant to be scary but when you know your risk, you can have a real conversation with your doctor about when to screen, how often, and what to watch for. That conversation could genuinely change things for you, and early detection means colon cancer has a 90% survival rate!

If any of this resonates, this is your nudge to bring it up at your next appointment. 💙

If you or someone you love are living with colon cancer, you're not alone. Connect with others navigating colorectal cancer in Inspire's support community at the link in bio. 🔗

The look says it all. 🫠 Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women yet it still takes an average of 7–10 years to be diagnosed.

If you’re living with endometriosis, you know this experience — and so does our community. This Endometriosis Awareness Month, you don’t have to explain yourself. Find your community in our endometriosis support group at the link in bio.

It's World Kidney Day! Did you know more than 1 in 7 US adults are estimated to have chronic kidney disease — and as many as 9 in 10 of those who have it don't even know it?

Kidney disease has a way of quietly reshaping everything — your diet, your energy, your routines, your relationships, and your sense of what "normal" looks like. For millions of people living with kidney conditions, every day involves navigating a complexity that most people never see.

At Inspire, we're proud to be home to a community where people living with kidney disease can find others who truly get it — to share experiences, ask the hard questions, and remind each other that they're not alone. Join the conversation today: https://www.inspire.com/groups/kidney-and-urology/

Most people can name the signs of a heart attack. But what about brain cancer? 🧠

This Brain Awareness Week, we're talking about something that doesn't always get the attention it deserves: the early signs of brain cancer. Many of the early symptoms are easy to brush off: a headache that won't quit, vision that seems a little off, a seizure that comes out of nowhere, mood changes that feel unexplained.

None of these automatically mean something serious — but they're worth paying attention to. Your body communicates with you. Listen to it.

And for anyone already on this journey, our Brain Cancer Support Community on Inspire, in partnership with American Brain Tumor Association is here for you. You don't have to face this alone, find the community today: https://www.inspire.com/groups/american-brain-tumor-association/

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and we're back with Tip #2 of our Colon Health Tips series. 🩺 Did you know that when colorectal cancer is caught early, the 5-year survival rate is over 90%? But less than half of eligible adults are up to date on their screening. That gap is costing lives.

Here's the thing about colorectal cancer: it often has no symptoms in its early stages. That's exactly why screening matters: it finds what you can't feel yet.

The good news? You have options. From colonoscopies to at-home stool tests, there are more ways than ever to get screened on your terms. Talk to your doctor about what's right for you and don't put it off. Early detection is one of the most powerful tools we have. 💙

If you or someone you love has been affected by colon cancer, our Colon Cancer support community on Inspire is a place to connect with people who truly understand.

If you've heard about RP1, a promising new treatment for melanoma but aren't sure how to access it- you're not alone.

RP1 is a newer therapy that isn't yet widely available. Compassionate use is a pathway that allows some patients to access treatments like this before they're fully approved. Navigating that process can feel overwhelming without the right guidance.

In partnership with Melanoma Research Alliance we're hosting a special Ask the Expert session on Inspire with Dr. Eric Whitman, MD, System Medical Director of Oncology at Atlantic Health and he's here to help answer your questions.

Dr. Whitman will be answering your questions starting Monday, March 9th through Thursday, March 12th at 6PM ET.

💬 You can post your questions now: https://www.inspire.com/groups/melanoma-exchange/discussion/09a881-ask-the-expert-accessing-rp1-through-compassionate-use/?utm_source=referral&utm_medium=web&utm_content=copied_link

There’s no perfect way to tell a child that someone they love has cancer. But there are ways to make it a little easier. 💚

From March 8–12, we’re hosting a very special Ask the Expert with our partners at the Pickles Group on How to Talk to Kids About Cancer.

Kelsey Mora, a Certified Child Life Specialist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, will spend the week answering your questions so you can feel a little more prepared for one of the hardest conversations a parent or caregiver can have.

Post your questions on our discussion page from now until March 12: https://www.inspire.com/m/Kelsey_PicklesGroup/journal/ac5296-ask-the-expert-how-to-talk-to-kids-about-cancer/

Today is HPV Awareness Day and we’re excited to announce something we’ve been working on. 🩵

Introducing HPV Cancers Alliance: a new Inspire community launching March 23.

Living with HPV can feel isolating and too often, people are left navigating it alone with just a search bar and a lot of unanswered questions. That changes now.

No more googling alone at 2am. Connect with people who get it, find expert Q&As, and trusted resources all in one place, built for you.

You deserve a place where you don’t have to explain yourself. We built it for you.
