Did you know your bones are constantly being broken down and rebuilt? 🦴 After around age 30, your bones start to break down faster than they are repaired and for millions of people, it leads to osteoporosis. Often called a "silent disease," bone loss happens gradually without symptoms β€” until a fracture does the talking. But there's so much you can do to protect yourself before it gets to that point.

This May, we're breaking down the habits that actually move the needle:
πŸ₯¦ What you eat
πŸƒ How you move
🚭 The lifestyle stuff
🩺 Knowing your risk

πŸ‘‰ Already living with osteoporosis or osteopenia? You're not alone. Join thousands of others in our Bone Health & Osteoporosis Support Community, in partnership with Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation on Inspire: https://www.inspire.com/groups/bone-health-and-osteoporosis/

IBS and Crohn's β€” two conditions that often get lumped together, but they're not the same thing. 🌿
If you've ever been handed a "your tests look normal" and sent home still in pain, that's the IBS experience. Your gut is genuinely struggling, even when there's no visible damage to show for it. And if you're living with Crohn's, you know that "flare" doesn't even begin to cover what your body goes through.

Knowing the difference matters because it changes how these conditions are diagnosed, treated, and talked about. The more we understand, the better we can advocate for ourselves and each other.

We broke down exactly what sets IBS and Crohn's apart- what they are, what they feel like, and what to watch for- over on the blog. Read it now: https://www.inspire.com/resources/ulcerative-colitis/difference-ibs-ibd/

let’s talk about the thing nobody wants to talk about πŸ‘€
STIs are incredibly common yet somehow we’re all still too embarrassed to talk about them. The stigma is way more harmful than the actual diagnosis so this STI Awareness Month, we’re saying what needs to be said.

swipe for the facts your s*x ed definitely skipped πŸ‘‰

Your body is always communicating β€” MS is what happens when the immune system interrupts that conversation. It affects over 2.9 million people worldwide, and for many, the road to diagnosis is long and lonely.

This MS Awareness Week, we're shining a light on the symptoms that often go unrecognized, dismissed, or misunderstood for years before a diagnosis. Everyone deserves to feel informed, supported, and less alone β€” not just this week, but always.

If you are living with MS and want to connect with others who understand what life with your condition is like, join the MS support community on Inspire: https://www.inspire.com/groups/multiple-sclerosis/

CIDP (chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy) is a rare autoimmune condition that affects the nerves, causing the immune system to mistakenly attack the protective myelin sheath. But what many people don't realize is that CIDP isn't just one condition. It's a spectrum, and it shows up differently for everyone.

Some people experience muscle weakness without any sensory symptoms. Others deal with numbness, pain, and balance issues but no weakness at all. And some experience both β€” in patterns that can shift and change over time.

That's part of what makes CIDP so challenging to navigate: your symptoms may not look like someone else's, even when you share the same diagnosis.

You don't have to figure it out alone. Inspire's CIDP community connects you with thousands of others who are living with every variant of this condition. People who understand the frustration of a diagnosis that doesn't fit neatly into a box, and who show up for each other anyway.

Your immune system is powerful but cancer can be sneaky about hiding from it. That's where T-cell receptor (TCR) therapies come in. 🧬

Your T-cells are basically your body's search-and-destroy squad. They find threats and take them out. But some cancers β€” like advanced melanoma β€” can disguise themselves, slipping past your immune system's radar.

TCR therapies work by engineering T-cells to actually recognize cancer cells, even the ones that have been playing hide-and-seek. It's one of the most exciting frontiers in oncology right now, and it's giving patients and researchers real reasons for hope.

Want to know how these therapies work, who might be eligible, what the research looks like, or what questions to bring to your own doctor? This is your chance! This week we're teaming up with the Melanoma Research Alliance to bring you answers straight from the expert.

Now until May 1 you can ask Dr. Rino Seeder, MD, Oncologist at Jefferson Cancer-Honickman Center all your questions on Inspire.

Tip #3 from Dr. Raj: methotrexate is doing a lot of heavy lifting- make sure you're monitoring it. πŸ‘€

It's one of the most commonly used medications in sarcoidosis treatment, and it works but it needs to be watched. Dr. Raj is walking us through what medication monitoring actually looks like and why it matters for your long-term health.

Still have questions? He's answering questions on all things Sarcoidosis on Inspire now through April 22 in partnership with the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research.
